LIFE Remembrance’s Post

An innovative pilot plant along the Po River Basin has been kicked off, the result of a unique synergy among Industry, Academia, Utilities, local and European institutions: the LIFE-Remembrance Water Living Lab will contribute to reduce pollution from water Designed, developed and activated by the core group of Medica SpA, CNR-ISOF and HERA Group the pilot is now entering the on-field testing phase at the potabilization plant of Pontelagoscuro (Ferrara). Based on a novel removing technology derived from biomedical industry scraps in a concept of circular economy, the pilot will be tested to remove micropollutants from water. The pilot as well as the removing technology was created thanks to our Life Remembrance project and will allow us to validate granular secondary materials in real environment. A new milestone has been achieved and we are now ready to tackle this further step towards the final successful result for the entire community.   Thanks to Hera, to CNR-ISOF, to M.C. Pasi (Izar, Water Europe ambassador) and to all the stakeholders  who have always supported, collaborated to and facilitated this ambitious journey which contribute to protect our water resources, to develop a circular and sustainable industry, to protect our planet from pollution effects.
