We tend to varnish a lot on social platforms. I'm a strong believer that leadership requires us to also come to the table with transparency, honesty, and vulnerability--especially if we want our teams, our cultures, to also have those characteristics. So, for this week's #FlashbackFriday, to continue the conversation we've been having about #wellbeing, I'm sharing a picture of a way I keep myself going: ensuring there are moments of downtime. We're going into our busiest and most exciting time of the year: our annual conference. Anyone who has been to it knows it's💥AMAZING.💥We pack so much into a few days, it's exhilarating and fabulous. There's also a lot to bring together and *DO.* We can't always be 🔛ON🔛. Health, wellness, and well-being require that we plan and take moments of rest, relaxation, and reflection. Believe it or not, this picture captures a moment of downtime during our Total Rewards conference a few years ago. A team member caught me taking a moment to catch my breath. And I'm glad they did. Hope it serves as a reminder that it's important, necessary, and reasonable for people to do so. There's no well-being without it.
