KINGDOM is an audio-visual experience that serves as a template for empowerment. It models the path of awakening in the face of adversity, becoming whole, and confronting inner and outer darkness in order to transform it. The film's visual and musical arrangement imprints a more courageous way of being. With repeated viewings, this imprint strengthens and becomes available to the viewer as an inner knowing. It's against immense odds, that the brilliance of one's soul spark ignites – and it's through the unison of our sparks that the purifying inferno of Truth blazes. One flame to ignite an inferno. Everyone recognizes that theater is about dialog. No question. Few recognize that film is about thought. The sophomore filmmaker shoots and cuts by dialog. The cinematic filmmaker shoots and cuts by thought. Being "cinematic" goes deeper than lighting, composition, and camera movement. You'll never be cinematic until you grasp what it means that film is about thought.

𝗚𝗼𝗱𝘀 𝗜 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗲! Why is it that this is such a common expression among actors? Is it the rapturous applause?... maybe. But to me it is something more than that. There is a freedom in the theatre, a life that exists in one true moment that is hard to capture anywhere else. You play through scenes in full, experiencing a something new with each iteration of it and in those scenes the beauty of humanities truth is revealed. And it is true that there is nothing quite like the live theatre, a big part of that is the direct access to the audience. However there is no reason we cannot capture the same magic we experience every time we step on stage, everytime to step into our voice booths or infront of cameras. And actor worth their salt knows that there is little difference between playing in the theatre, on a film set or in a booth. The only difference that should exist for you is the given circumstance of your medium that influence your performance. - You're in a theatre, so speak louder! - You're on camera... don't look at it! - You're voicing a kids animation, make it bigger! The key to bringing the same magic to a voice performance as you would to a theatre performance is simple... 𝗗𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸! For every performance I give I put the same thought and effort into my characters development as I would in a production for the stage or the screen. A talk between a distributor and the artist can be challenging; Cinema is basically an art form, and not a product. Yet, nowadays, Its existence depends on its consumption as a product; and here comes the dilemma. To be seen is to be consumed and to be consumed is to be mainstream, and to be mainstream might not be art.
