As CVC, we are always on the lookout for groundbreaking ideas and the brilliant minds behind. Hello Tomorrow did not disappoint, especially the Investor Day, which stood out as a highlight. The Investor Day provided an unparalleled opportunity to dive deep into the vibrant ecosystem of new technologies and entrepreneurial thinking. We were able to explore new opportunities by meeting a multitude of innovative startups as well as other VC investors. The Global Summit highlighted the need for Europe to build robust innovation networks to stay competitive globally. Current Deep Tech Trends could be discussed like NextGen Computing, Space, Climate Tech, Hyper - Automation, Health Tech, and the omnipresent topics around AI and how it drives the speed in multiple sectors. Furthermore, the importance of bringing together people with diverse backgrounds, from research, entrepreneurship, venture capital, corporates, to politics, was highlighted as essential for enabling innovation, disruption, and ways of financing the future. VCs need to play an active role in supporting upcoming companies to scale. Absolutely thrilled to share my takeaways from the exhilarating Hello Tomorrow summit! Over the past few days, I had the incredible opportunity to engage with visionary leaders, innovative startups, and experts from various fields, all united by a common goal: shaping the future of technology and fostering meaningful progress. The summit served as a dynamic platform for thought-provoking discussions, where we explored emerging trends, disruptive technologies, and their profound impact on our society and industries. From AI/ML and quantum computing to climate and digital transformation, these are not just buzzwords but driving forces behind groundbreaking innovations shaping our future. One aspect that particularly resonated with me was the robust support for startups within the EU ecosystem. With both public and private funds, as well as incubators nurturing a vibrant startup culture. Moreover, I was profoundly impressed by the groundbreaking startups showcasing their working prototypes and cutting-edge solutions at the summit. Their ingenuity my belief in the transformative potential of entrepreneurship and reminded me of the importance of staying agile and adaptive in an ever-evolving landscape. Also, I had the privilege of talking to Christina Gyenge, Ph.D. about the vital role of women in the realm of deep tech. She shed light on the challenges, triumphs, and opportunities women encounter in this dynamic and rapidly evolving field. I am deeply grateful to Christina for sharing her insights and experiences. I am committed to supporting women in the IT field, particularly in deep tech, both within our organization and beyond. I am grateful for the invaluable connections and knowledge gained at Hello Tomorrow Summit 2024. I am eager to continue pushing the boundaries of possibility as we chart the course for a brighter future together.
