Families can work together to solve them and uncover hidden treasures. Costume Contests: Host costume contests where attendees of all ages can showcase their creativity. Categories can include best family-themed costumes, funniest outfits, or most original ensembles. Giant Board Games: Set up oversized versions of classic board games like chess, Jenga, or Connect Four, encouraging families to participate in friendly competitions. Sack Races and Tug of War: Arrange traditional outdoor games like sack races and tug of war, complete with prizes for the winning teams. Scavenger Hunts: Create a festival-wide scavenger hunt, with participants collecting specific items or completing challenges at various booths and attractions. Section 2: Interactive Arts and Crafts Craft Workshops: Provide crafting stations where families can create art, crafts, or personalized festival souvenirs. Offer a variety of materials and themes to cater to different interests. Face Painting: Set up a face painting booth with skilled artists who can transform attendees into whimsical characters, animals, or superheroes. Balloon Twisting: Have balloon artists on hand to create intricate balloon animals, hats, and sculptures for children and adults alike. Sand Art: Offer sand art activities where attendees can design colorful sand creations in bottles or molds, fostering creativity and imaginative expression. Appealing Character Motion with Minimal Effort – With Saša Budimir Turning silly ideas into short animations is always fun. We'll take a couple of cute characters as an example and see how the procedural nature of Houdini can help us get an appealing motion based on rudimentary keyframed input. We'll walk through every segment from the initial idea to the final render, utilizing tools like KineFX, ragdoll, Vellum, hair/fur and Karma. Annecy, known as the largest Animation Festival globally, requires little introduction. Each year, in early June, thousands of animation enthusiasts flock to this quaint alpine village for a magical week celebrating animation's art, craft, and beauty. Like moths to a flame, we've been regularly attending this festival since 2016. For both regular visitors and first-time viewers, Friedrich has compiled a list of tricks, savings, and hidden spots that you shouldn't miss out on. TOP TEN: 1. When crossing through Switzerland, switch off your mobile data as it can become super expensive otherwise. Generally, everything is crazy expensive in Switzerland! 2. DON’T MISS THIS DATE!!! Annecy has a system for booking screenings that you can access on the web or app. At a certain date and time it will unlock the reservations and everyone wants to book at the same time. You only have about 2-5 minutes to book your favorite films, one or two weeks before the festival starts before they are all booked out. So do your research for at least the feature films beforehand and save the date for the online booking! 3. Bring good walking shoes, as you will have to walk a lot! 4. Save some space in your luggage and bring extra money to buy some amazing graphic novels, comics, and posters at the comic shop: “BD Fugue Café” inside the Bonlieu (main cinema building). 5. If it is your first time going, try to get into one of the "WTF" screenings late at night in the “Bonlieu” Cinema. 6. Consider going home for lunch to quickly cook something and possibly have a nap. Recharging is important as days are packed and nights are long. 7. Drinks in bars and restaurants can be very pricey! To save money, bring your own (hidden) beverages to the evening gatherings. 8. Remember, you can't buy alcohol in supermarkets in France after 8pm. 9. In the evening, you can usually find a lot of people at: Café des Arts  10. Don’t miss out on the Annecy picnics. I did speak about our passion to train artists into world class animators and digital artists. Two years after we launched our online class platform Magic Lab Academy https://magiclab.studio focused on growing the continent’s creative capacity to deliver world class stories. The global animation industry is offering enormous growth opportunities for emerging economies worldview. The total value of the global animation industry is projected to reach $270m, by 2030 the animation market will hit $642.5bn.

Eastern Creek Quarter Shopping Christmas Cave Activation. We wanted to create a unique story to enrich our Christmas Cave experience. The 12 Elves of Christmas now have a new tale, they had gone missing and they must be found. We created a treasure hunt to find them and save Christmas, A Christmas story told through words and pictures across one of the cave walls, guests were encouraged to use the AR function in the ECQ Rewards App to follow the story along the wall. How can a Mascot Become a communication device? Imagine creating something that captures the essence of a community. That’s what happened when we introduced Satoro, our unique mascot, to our drawing club. Inspired by a local frog used in ancient rituals, Satoro represents more than just a symbol; he’s become our voice, embodying our shared values and mission. When I first started the club, I underestimated how much support I would need. After a challenging period, I realized I couldn't grow the club alone. With the help of four passionate members, we revitalized the club and created Satoro to speak for us. This experience taught me that collaboration can turn a simple idea into a powerful tool for communication. A mascot can represent a group’s identity far more effectively than any single individual.
