Experience Centers – Our recent opportunity to work on a collaborative project at the experience centres of both Airbus and Boeing emphasizes the significance of experience centres in the design and development process. These facilities, known as the "Airbus – Customer Definition Centre" and "Boeing – Airplane Integration Center", offer full-scaled mock-ups for testing design outcomes. Mock-ups play a crucial role in the design process as they provide a realistic representation of the final design outcome. By being able to physically interact with the mock-ups, designers and stakeholders can gain valuable insights into the aesthetics, ergonomics, and functionality of the design concept. They allow designers to visualize the potential end result, identify any potential issues, and make necessary adjustments before moving forward with production. By utilizing experience centres, designers can ensure that their designs meet the desired specifications and requirements, ultimately leading to a more successful and efficient design process. This hands-on experience allows for more informed decision-making and ultimately leads to better final products. Experience centres serve as invaluable resources for companies in the aerospace industry, as well as in other sectors. They not only facilitate collaboration and innovation but also help in creating a more efficient and effective design process. By incorporating and leveraging experience centres into design projects, designers can greatly enhance the overall quality and success of the final product. #customerexperience #designmockup #experiencecentre
