I listened to a podcast earlier this week and there was a comedian talking about the process it takes to create a 1 hour comedy special. The process (simplified) looks like: 1️⃣ Write a ton of content 2️⃣ Practice and refine this content by touring and including in their routines 3️⃣ Identify the content that works and begin to assemble the 1 hour special 4️⃣ Test out the full routine and refine 5️⃣ Record the special What we see as the end output on youtube or netflix came after many months or even years of compiling their best stuff to fill a full 1 hour special 👀 We should be thinking about our demo content in the same way. Too often we see companies looking to create that "perfect demo". Instead 👉 Publish a bunch of tours that you THINK will work. And then let the data do the talking. Our data is bit different than laughs from the crowd - but the process is largely the same.

Our quick fire round of ‘podmojis’ goes perhaps slightly off track despite Oliver Turnbull’s best efforts - but we do manage to cover the Murdochs, the Bobs (that’s Iger and Chapek), OnlyFans and the Emmys, so we should get points for effort surely.
