The narrative that this campaign targets the Occupation Resistance Force (Hamas), while effectively justifying the loss of innocent lives, is increasingly seen as a facade for territorial expansion. The recent atrocities perpetrated against civilians, including journalists, UN workers, and medical professionals, paint a grim picture of a society where power has eclipsed humanity. This cycle of violence is not isolated to Gaza; similar actions are reported in Southern Lebanon, raising alarm about a broader pattern of disregard for human rights by Israel. It is disheartening to see nations like the USA and UK supporting these actions, turning a blind eye to the suffering inflicted on countless innocents. This complicity only exacerbates the tragedy unfolding in the region. For a people that survive the Nazis holocaust, it is unbelievable that Israel can be this wicked. how different are they from the Nazis? We must not remain silent. It is imperative that we call for accountability and justice. I urge you to raise awareness, advocate for those affected, and support efforts aimed at restoring peace and dignity to all individuals caught in this conflict. I am already bracing myself for the hate mail and nasty comments from all the people that will take this post the wrong way. I just cannot be silent anymore, it's been a year, we cannot continue on this path of killing and destruction. Please stop! As a US citizen I am appealing to the people in power.... 🌍 Call for Action: Ending U.S. Funding for Conflict in Gaza and Lebanon As a concerned citizen, I believe it is imperative that we advocate for an immediate cessation of U.S. funding for the ongoing conflict in Israel. The humanitarian crises in Gaza and Lebanon have escalated significantly, and for far too long, the world has remained largely silent in the face of these atrocities. It’s essential to recognize that the lives of Palestinians and Lebanese are no less valuable than those of Israelis. All violence is unjustifiable, and we cannot support the killing of civilians to this magnitude. While the loss of life in battle is tragic, we must draw the line at indiscriminate killing. We must reevaluate our political positions and policies that contribute to such violence. The United States has a crucial role in promoting peace and prioritizing humanitarian efforts instead of perpetuating military support, which will not, in the long run, solve the problem but instead create multiple generations that hate the USA and its involvement in supporting this indiscriminate killing cycle. The continuation of this conflict is a pressing concern for our future, as it risks dragging the United States and its allies into a much larger war, possibly even World War III. I understand that President Biden has positive qualities, but his support for Israel's actions in Palestine is unacceptable. The US has provided billions in aid and weapons, enabling Israel's oppression and violence. This contradicts human rights and dignity, as seen in: - The killing of over 14,000 Palestinian children and thousands of women and men (Source: UNICEF, Amnesty International) - The blockade of Gaza, causing widespread poverty and starvation (Source: OCHA, Human Rights Watch) - The destruction of homes and infrastructure, leaving thousands displaced (Source: UNRWA, B'Tselem) It's time to break free from the duopoly that perpetuates this status quo.
