Oreo, the iconic cookie brand that has delighted consumers for over a century with its claim of being “milk’s favourite cookie,” has found a new creative way to reinforce this message. The innovative campaign, ‘Oreo Codes,’ leverages special offers for Oreo , cleverly hidden in plain sight on every milk carton. Consumers can simply scan the barcode on a milk carton - whether in the grocery store or at home - using a portal at oreocodes.com to unlock a special discount. Insight: Milk and Oreos make the perfect combination. Milk buyers need to be reminded of this. Strategy: Encourage consumers to scan the QR code on their milk cartons. Use Oreo Codes as a playful and effective vehicle to drive purchases and encourage incremental buying occasions while providing consumers with an opportunity to save on both milk and Oreos. Results: - 7.3% sales uplift - 230% increase in engagement - 83% redemption rate
