A love letter to my favorite Kathryn Anne , the most poised, principled, empathetic, audacious, and inspiring person I know. Katie Stevens started her career at Talk Shop in 2010 as employee #1 (or maybe #3, depending on who you ask). We had just merged two boutique firms and were punching above our weight in all the ways. Boldly working to do great things. Blindly doing it without much of a clue about anything. It was 50% untethered chaos and 50% magic. And, to be honest... much has changed and much is still the same. Nearly 15 years later, Katie is the heart and soul of Talk Shop. Some days, the heart takes a beating, and other days, it beams so bright nothing can dull its shine. That's the thing about hearts ❤️ Year after year, Katie has helped lead our agency into bold new places. She has become a master of finance, an HR expert, a legal legend, a world-class communicator, and a servant leader. She delights in seeing her people win—her team, her friends, her community, and her boys. Odds are if she's met you, she's someone who is genuinely rooting for you, and that is an increasingly rare trait.
