Are you an e-commerce team of one? Doing 7 different jobs, one of which is managing e-commerce? That’s HARD. Not only is it a lot to expect of an employee, it makes e-commerce so much harder to have someone else to bounce ideas off of. Without someone to bounce ideas offf of, it’s hard to grow your brand’s e-commerce division. And if you are successful and grow e-commerce for your company, it usually means more work for you! I recently made a switch from e-commerce to sales, and here's why: 🌍 Moving to Spain: I found myself producing and shipping all products on my own. It was a labor of love, but the logistics became overwhelming. 🎯 Wearing too many hats: E-commerce demands juggling distribution, marketing, customer service, and more. It's complex. 💡 Affordable advertising: Advertising on socials is not as effective as it was. 🤯 Low margins: Keep in mind Revenue ≠ Profit. 👔 Why Sales?: Transitioning to sales allows me to focus on one thing. It´s about communication and building relationships. 📈 Conclusion: Both paths have their challenges and rewards. Ecom is hard. Sales is hard.
