Using the LaMotte Mobile Spin Lab and a 10 Way Spin Disk (203 series), we're showing you how to fill a spin disk properly - whether you're in the field on at a Water Testing Station. 1) Never touch the top or bottom of the disk with your fingers. 2) Keep the disk steady and level - don't mix the reagents. 3) Keep the disk dry. 4) Never under-fill the disk. Your last readings will be very high (not diluted enough). 5) Always use the disk cover so the Spin Lab can see what it needs to see. 6) Protect your product - seal the bag. Pro Tip: Use a dark surface when filling the disk - it's so much easier to see.
