As much as many in the industry will see this as basic, for some this is a complicated and a time consuming effort with many asking ‘what’s the point, I won’t be targeted’. For me, as a rugby coach, a simple mantra to have is to do the basics well 👍 Great advice from Police CyberAlarm following National Cyber Security Centre advice. #WorldPasswordDay #PoliceCyberAlarm
Today is #WorldPasswordDay. This is a day which drives awareness of the importance of strong #passwords and promoting better password habits as they are critical gatekeepers to our digital premises. Strong and secure passwords are crucial, especially now that most of us work online. Here are a few tips that the National Cyber Security Centre recommends you do to ensure you remain on top of your password hygiene. 👉Avoid using predictable passwords such as dates, family and pet names 👉Avoid the most common passwords that criminals can easily guess 👉Create a memorable password that’s hard for someone to guess for example combining three random words to create a single password e.g. cupfishbiro For more information on PCA and how it can better improve your cyber security, got to https://ow.ly/wnJZ50RuqO2 #Passwords #Password #DefaultPasswords #BusinessSecurity #CyberSecurity #CyberAwareness #SMEs #Wales
