Every manufacturer knows one truth: even the best product is powerless without the right reach. But what if I tell you distributors weren’t just channels but true partners in your growth journey? Here's what many miss: Distributors aren’t just your delivery mechanism. They are key to your growth, helpful partners, and often great mentors. Let me share what building distributor relationships has taught me: 1️⃣ 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬 When your distributor's growth becomes your mission, targets care for themselves. It's about understanding their challenges, market realities, and dreams. 2️⃣ 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 Every market has its rhythm. What works in Mumbai might fail in Madurai. Let your distributors guide you - they know their territory best. 3️⃣ 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 Success isn't just about selling more. It's about growing together - through training, market support, and continuous engagement. 4️⃣ 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐬 Look beyond sales numbers. Market penetration, retailer satisfaction, and brand visibility tell the real story of distribution success. The future of distribution is changing. Digital platforms, direct sales, and modern retail pose new challenges. ......................................... But one thing remains constant: strong distributor relationships are irreplaceable. Remember: Your distributors are entrepreneurs, too. Respect their business acumen, support their growth, and watch your brand flourish. What's your experience with building distributor networks? Imagine a bustling conglomerate, its sales force spread across India like stars in the night sky. This was Khaitan India Ltd., a company with roots as deep as the Banyan trees in Kolkata. But even the mightiest trees need to adapt to thrive. Khaitan's sales team was their lifeline, connecting their electrical equipment and sugar products to every corner of India. Yet, managing this vast network felt like trying to catch fireflies with bare hands – elusive and frustrating. Enter Twib, our all-in-one field sales solution. We didn't just offer a product; we offered a vision of what could be. Picture this: A Khaitan sales rep in a remote village, closing a deal with a tap on their smartphone. Meanwhile, in the Kolkata headquarters, managers watch real-time updates flow in like a digital river of success. This wasn't a dream. This was the power of Twib's easy-to-use sales CRM in action. The journey wasn't just about implementing software. It was about igniting a spark of change. We stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Khaitan's HR team, guiding them through each step. The user-friendly interface of Twib turned even the most tech-hesitant employees into digital pioneers. As days turned into weeks, and weeks into months, something magical happened. The cumbersome paper trails of yesterday transformed into streamlined digital processes. Sales reps found themselves spending less time on reports and more time doing what they do best – selling. But the real magic? It was in the numbers. Sales performance soared. Errors plummeted. Insights deepened. Khaitan wasn't just managing their sales force; they were empowering it. This is more than a success story. It's a testament to the power of embracing change. It's proof that with the right tools, even the most traditional businesses can leap into the future. At Twib, we don't just provide software. We provide the bridge between what is and what could be. We helped Khaitan India Ltd. write a new chapter in their storied history. What story could we help you write? #SalesInnovation #DigitalTransformation #TwibSuccess

“Arey, tu Chennai kyun jaana chahta hai? Kolkata ja, maa-baap hain wahan tere.” "Bahut mushkil hai sales aur woh bhi Chennai. Tere se nahi ho paayega" It was 2005, and there I was, nervously laying out my grand plan to switch from operations to sales in Praxair. The reaction? My sales head gave me one of those long, skeptical looks. “Sales? And Chennai? Are you sure?” I’ll give him this—he was a sharp guy, someone who knew the game inside out. He didn’t just throw people into sales without reason. And looking back, I’m not sure I’d have taken a chance on me either. Here’s why: I knew zero Tamil. I had zero sales experience. And I was heading to Chennai, known for its heat, idli, and a whole different sales dynamic. He had every reason to say no. Instead, he did something only great leaders do—he saw a spark in me, a little "sales bug," and chose to take a risk. Maybe he thought, “Let’s see what this guy’s made of.” And for that, I’ll always be grateful. So off I went to Chennai, carrying a mix of excitement, nerves, and a growing sense of, "What have I gotten myself into?" Three years. The best three years of my career back then. I stumbled, learned the language (sort of), sweated it out in the Chennai sun, and tackled the toughest challenges. Thanks to that sales head who believed in me, I found out what I was truly capable of. Here’s what I learned from that decision: 1. Sometimes, all it takes is one believer. We all need that one person who sees potential when no one else does. 2. Embrace the unknown. New cities, languages, and work environments—if you let them, they’ll make you resilient. It's a massive unlock. 3. Growth begins at discomfort. Safety feels nice, but real growth comes from taking leaps. To anyone considering a risky move—jump. You might just discover your best years on the other side.

1 Crore in Sales? - "Think Smaller" 1 crore feels like a monster number, doesn’t it? Most people look at it and fold. Weak. They can’t think beyond the big, scary figure. But here’s the truth - we’re overcomplicating it. It’s basic math. A crore is just selling a ₹250 product to 40,000 people. That’s nothing, Bangalore’s Koramangala or HSR Layout has more people than that waiting to spend with their open-welcoming wallets. We don’t need the whole city! We don’t even need a quarter of it. We just need one small chunk. The problem isn’t the target, the problem is US. Our mindset is broken. We see the big number and think, “We can’t.” No. We’ve already lost. The winners break it down and see the path. They don’t whine about the mountain - they start climbing. Stop seeing the mountain. Start counting the steps. So, what’s stopping you? #NoExcuses #Business #SalesMindset #HustleHard #Bangalore #RealityCheck

I don’t like Chennai Autowalas much They ask a lot from me as a customer - They don’t accept UPI - They ask over what #Ola or #Uber ask - They cancel if they don’t get 50-100 over the bill They come up with all weird excuses for this on why they do it only in Chennai I don’t like Chennai auto-walls generally. They make me want to buy my own vehicle and get this over with Except when I met Moorthy - He was warm - He came without negotiating - Didn’t ask anything over the Ola Bill - Had a fun conversation and asked a lot of Q about me If I had projected my opinion of all Chennai autowalas on Moorthy, I wouldn’t have had fun with him I would’ve ended up reading a book and scrolled through LinkedIn I would’ve been grumpy, in a negative mood, never breaking patterns I would’ve missed the opportunity to interact with an amazing man in Moorthy There’s an important sales lesson here - Not all prospects hate getting cold calls - Not all emails are going into to the spam box - Not all accounts are a bad fit for your product Prospects are like Chennai Autowalas Some will be warm Some will be rude & cold Some just don’t care about anyone Your job is to dial Your job is to detach Your job is to ensure you don’t project By projecting, you’re missing out on amazing prospects, accounts, and opportunities that can change your life Stay in the present. Focus on your breath Your next cold call can be a fun one Your next cold call can be the biggest one in your career

How My Mistake Cost Me 5x in Sales—And What I Learned Ever felt like you’re running in circles, covering every possible ground, but missing out on the real gains? I did too—until I discovered a game-changing strategy that multiplied my sales by 5x. In my first year visiting schools, I aimed to cover Delhi, Hyderabad, Varanasi, Aurangabad, Nagpur, and more. The plan? Spend 3-4 days in each city, make connections, and convert schools. But as the year progressed, I realized something alarming. I was constantly rushing and not optimizing my time. My conversions were inconsistent, and follow-ups were sparse. One day, it hit me: what if I focused on just 2-3 regions? By dedicating more time to fewer areas, I could build deeper relationships and provide better support. I tested this and chose two key regions. I spent weeks building strong connections and understanding their needs. The results were astounding—my sales skyrocketed by 5-7x. The lesson? Less can be more. Focusing on fewer areas leads to greater efficiency and higher sales. Instead of spreading thin, dive deep into key regions and watch your results soar. Have you faced similar challenges in your sales journey? Share your story and let the world know your insights! #SalesTips #SalesStrategy #EfficiencyInSales #FocusForGrowth #SchoolSales P.S. This is a photo from one of my very first official trips to Aurangabad
