[RECAP] My LinkedIn Training Session at ISB. About a month ago, I had the opportunity to attend a personal branding workshop as part of my Business Communication course. I am incredibly grateful for the insights shared by Ms. Nhi Tran (Lynn Tran), MBA, and our special guest, Miss. Trân Nguyễn. During the session, Ms. Lynn introduced us to LinkedIn and its significance for personal branding before assigning us to build a profile, while Ms. Trân provided us with valuable strategies for creating an effective one. This is my reflections on the assignment: 𝟭. 𝙎𝙀𝙇𝙁-𝙍𝙀𝙁𝙇𝙀𝘾𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉 Before the assignment, I hardly ever considered the importance of networking or personal branding and had underestimated how much they could affect my life goals. 📌When I started working on the assignment at home, I felt overwhelmed at first, thinking: “How can I possibly connect with 100 people in just a month?” However, I soon realized that building connections isn’t as daunting as I imagined. In fact, it offers a glimpse into others’ professional lives and diverse perspectives; I have gained fascinating insights and discovered many things I had never come across before. Imagine just how blown away I was! 📌 As I was building my profile, I came to evaluate my strengths and skills—something I had rarely done. I didn't really have a chance to understand who I was and what I wanted back then, and this reflection helped clarify my abilities and aspirations: I am considerably good at critical thinking, time management, and collaborative leadership; I don't have clear goal for my career path yet, but I'm interested in Finance and I always strive to become a better version of myself everyday. While I know I still have much to learn, completing my profile has brought me relief and contentment, giving me a clearer understanding of who I am. 📌 By creating a profile on LinkedIn, I am able to build an online presence. Through it, I can "sell my brand"—sharing my own future experiences and insights (hopefully). By being my authentic self on LinkedIn, I hope to connect with others and exchange mindsets. 𝟮. 𝙎𝙐𝙈𝙈𝘼𝙍𝙔 After finishing the assignment, I feel more empowered to connect with others, expand my network, and "sell my brand"—showcasing who I am and what I can do. I am also more actively considering my personal brand and thinking about ways to enhance my profile to attract inspiring individuals and achive my goals. 💝Thank you Ms. Nhi Tran (Lynn Tran), MBA, and Ms. Trân Nguyễn so much for such a valuable session. #HoangThuyLinh #MsLynn #WORKSHOP5 #ISB #BUSINESSCOMMUNICATION
