The Role of the External Authenticator (EA) for QQI Providers: A Behind-the-Scenes Look! Today, I'm diving into my role as an External Authenticator (EA) remotely, and I must say—I'm thoroughly enjoying it! As an EA, my mission is to ensure the quality and integrity of assessments offered by QQI providers. By reviewing samples of learner work and verifying that assessment processes are fair, transparent, and aligned with national standards, we help maintain the credibility and value of QQI qualifications. Remote work has its perks—whether it's enjoying a cup of coffee in a cosy corner or the flexibility to connect with institutions across the country from the comfort of home or, in our case, our studio. But what's most fulfilling is knowing that, even from a distance, I'm contributing to the high standards of education that learners deserve. Here's to all my fellow EAs who are committed to upholding excellence in education, one remote External Authentication at a time! If this is something you do, let me know. #EducationQuality #ExternalAuthenticator #QQI #RemoteWork #EducationalExcellence

It's crucial to adhere to these conditions to ensure valid and reliable assessments. 𝟐. When chaos precedes the creation of good systems. A few years ago, I used to believe that everything had to be perfectly organized before any progress could be made. (Similarly, UGC-NET candidates often expect flawless management for a smooth examination experience.) However, I soon realized that chaos is often necessary in order to pave the way for the development of effective systems. (The disarray seen in UGC-NET management calls for innovative solutions and better systems.) It was during a particularly hectic time in my life that I discovered the power of embracing chaos as a precursor to creating order. (Candidates facing the disorganized UGC-NET process can view it as an opportunity for systemic improvements.) As I navigated through the messiness of uncertainty and disorder, I began to see patterns emerging and opportunities for improvement. (Despite UGC-NET's chaotic management, patterns of inefficiency can highlight areas for development.) Instead of being overwhelmed by the chaos, I started to embrace it as a natural part of the creative process. (UGC-NET aspirants and organizers can accept the disorder as a step towards better management practices.) This shift in perspective allowed me to let go of my need for control and perfection, and instead focus on adapting and evolving in the face of chaos. (By releasing the need for perfect UGC-NET management, stakeholders can focus on adaptable and evolving solutions.) Ultimately, I learned that chaos can be a catalyst for innovation and growth. (The mismanagement of UGC-NET can spark innovative strategies and growth in exam administration.) By embracing the chaos and allowing it to guide the creation of good systems, I was able to achieve greater success and fulfillment in both my personal and professional life. (Embracing the chaos in UGC-NET management can lead to more effective and fulfilling examination systems.) Embrace chaos to create effective systems. (UGC-NET should embrace its current chaos to develop robust and efficient examination systems.) #students #NTA #UGCNET #system

Remember, facing challenges is a natural part of learning and growth. Stay persistent, adaptable, and always be willing to learn from your experiences. With time and dedication, you'll develop the skills needed to excel in your field. My week 12 weekly reflection: Select a challenge or problem you have encountered within your learning track. Overcoming Time Constraints and Tight Deadlines During My First Week in the 3MTT Quality Assurance Course In the initial week of my 3MTT quality assurance course, I encountered significant challenges in managing time constraints and adhering to tight deadlines. The multitude of activities, including offline lectures, online courses, assignments, Telegram meetings, weekly reflections, and balancing my social and personal life, made the situation even more daunting. However, I was determined to find solutions and develop strategies to overcome these obstacles: 1.Prioritising Tasks: I identified the most crucial activities for the week and organized them in order of importance. This allowed me to focus on the most essential aspects of the course and allocate my time accordingly. 2. Seeking Assistance: Collaborating closely with my coursemates and ALC (Academic Learning Coach), I sought help whenever I faced difficulties or lagged in any aspect of the course. By actively seeking guidance and incorporating feedback, I was able to make improvements and stay on track. 3. Determination: Maintaining a strong determination to succeed and acquire essential skills through this opportunity played a pivotal role in staying motivated and overcoming challenges. By implementing these strategies, I was able to effectively manage time constraints and meet tight deadlines. This not only contributed to my success in the quality assurance course but also instilled valuable time management skills that I can apply to future endeavours. #My3MTT #3MTTAnambra #3MTTWeeklyReflection @3mttNigeria @IHSTowers @NITDANigeria

I completed the English for IT 1 3MTT Course from Ciso by Francis Sani, Abdulraheem Muhammed Etudaye, and Bashir Ibrahim. The course, focusing on English language skills at the "B2" proficiency level, is essential for employment in the IT field. It is part of a series teaching English within an IT context, covering terminology, grammar, vocabulary, and more. During the course, I acquired valuable insights in various areas such as Product Management, Grammar (including Passive Voice and Relative Pronouns), Listening exercises like the UX experience, and diverse Reading modules. Key learnings included interpreting instructions for Network Engineering, mastering Grammar points like the Emphatic "do," and honing skills in Listening to scenarios like Manager and Junior Network Engineer conversations. Additionally, I delved into Software Engineering concepts such as analyzing Factual Information and Grammar nuances like starting a sentence with a Conjunction and employing Modal Verbs. Grateful for the opportunity provided by the 3MTT Team, I reflect on the enriching experience and knowledge gained. #My3MTT #3MTTweeklyreflection

I’m currently taking a Virtual Assistant course on ALX and it has been an impactful one. The course is going to take place for 8 weeks. And i would like to share my experience with you guys. Week 1 was an introduction to the course, we had a welcome ceremony and i also learnt about the following; • Community code of conduct. • Importance of the community. • Graduation requirements. • CHAIR values: COURAGE to speak up, challenge the status quo, be honest, try and learn. HUMILITY to serve others and my greater purpose, learn, grow, receive feedback, and embrace wins and losses. ADVENTURE to dream, boldly venture into new territories and see life as a joyous opportunity. INITIATIVE to take action, go the extra mile, take ownership and get things done. RESILIENCE to tackle difficulties with a can-do attitude, give it my best shot, and not give up when it is time-consuming or hard.

I've always struggled with classroom and role-play-based courses…. Being a hands-on, real-world learner, this week's FREC3 course has posed some personal challenges. Nevertheless, I’ve managed to pass all the parts so far, and now it's all about applying what we’ve learned to scenarios, following processes, and communicating effectively. I've gained my experience as an event professional through doing the job, but only recently have I realised the importance of having those “pieces of paper.” Beyond basic first-aid and the SIA Door Supervisor Licence, I didn’t pursue formal training until recently. My educational journey has been filled with ups and downs. I faced many hurdles, from struggling with traditional learning methods to dealing with chaotic life events. I’ve taken numerous courses, ranging from event and crowd management to health and safety certifications. However, not all of these courses have been completed… Some were interrupted by life events, injuries, or changing career paths. Each course has presented its own challenges, whether dealing with injuries sustained during training or balancing work commitments with study time. Yet, every experience has taught me something valuable and contributed to my growth. I barely scraped by in school. Life was chaotic, and education just wasn't a priority for me. Sitting through classes (the ones I actually attended) and staring at a board of information never worked for me. But now, I’ve developed a respect for learning and have proven I can do it, even though it's still tough. I'm working hard to balance my real-world event experience with new qualifications and certifications to demonstrate that I'm practically and academically capable in live events. So, two questions for you: FREC3: In team training scenarios, who should take the lead when there is no designated lead clinician? I believe the person talking to the patient, building rapport, and preparing the ATMIST information for handover should take the lead. What are your thoughts? Life/Courses/Training: Practical experience vs. certifications – which is more crucial in events? What’s the best course you’ve undertaken? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts! #EventManagement #ContinuousLearning #ProfessionalDevelopment #RealWorldExperience #Certifications #LifeLongLearning #FREC3 #Training *Now, back to studying before another full day of learning tomorrow!
