They often lack the flexibility to fund the enrichment opportunities and innovative initiatives desperately needed to support our underserved community. Ossining MATTERS Education Foundation bridges this gap by supporting critical programs and resources that enhance education and provide opportunities many families could not otherwise afford. State funding formulas often fail to address the unique and diverse needs of districts like Ossining. Education is the key to unlocking a brighter future for every child. However, there are children in our local community who face challenges in accessing basic school supplies, hindering their learning and growth. Let's come together and make a difference in their lives by supporting our upcoming donation drive for school supplies in Naic, Cavite. What do we need? We are seeking donations of new or gently used school supplies to provide to children in need. Here is a list of items that would greatly benefit these young learners: 1. Notebooks 2. Pens, pencils, and erasers 3. Crayons, markers, and colored pencils 4. Rulers and scissors 5. Glue sticks and tape 6. Backpacks and school bags How can you contribute? You can support this noble cause by donating any of the items mentioned above. It's #GivingTuesday! For families who cannot afford high school tuition, paying for field trips in Belize or abroad is out of the question. But retreats, field trips and summer trips to other countries help students decide who they want to be and what they want to do with their lives. This Giving Tuesday, we are raising money for our Leadership+ students to immerse themselves in learning opportunities outside the classroom. Money is the only roadblock these bright and curious students have in their educational journey; we want to clear the path for them and we need your help to do that.
