𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞: 𝐀 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 🌍#𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞" #𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐬 #𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 Maria Montessori's profound wisdom reminds us that true education isn’t just about academics or competition—it’s about creating a world built on cooperation, solidarity, and peace. In her words, “Competition is the beginning of any war,” highlighting the urgent need for an education system that prioritizes values like empathy, collaboration, and mutual respect. In today’s competitive world, the shift towards peace education is more relevant than ever. By teaching our children to work together instead of against each other, we foster the foundations of a harmonious society. Montessori’s philosophy serves as a guiding light for educators, parents, and policymakers to focus on holistic development over rivalry. No matter what form of education you believe in but let’s work toward building classrooms that inspire unity, nurture emotional intelligence, and truly educate for peace. #MariaMontessori #PeaceEducation #MontessoriWisdom #CooperativeLearning #EducationForPeace #EmpathyMatters #GlobalHarmony #EshaJain.

Education is so constructed and rigid, experiences on the other hand are so much more. I think formal education limit people as most of the structure supports capitalism and conformity. Coupled with experiences, education is magnified, and this is where we find true learning.

Ambleside Method and Practice - Children as Persons or Products In today’s educational landscape, our perception of the child fundamentally shapes our teaching philosophy. Dr. Bill St. Cyr shares in "Part 1:Persons or Products" from the The Ambleside Difference 21-video series, that there are two pervasive misconceptions that distort our understanding of children. One views the child as a mere product—akin to wax to be molded or a blank slate waiting for the right system to imprint knowledge. This perspective casts children as passive participants in their own education. Conversely, another school of thought elevates the child to a near-demigod status, suggesting they possess all the intrinsic abilities needed to navigate their world. Both extremes overlook a crucial truth: children are not mere objects to be manipulated or independent entities set adrift. Rather, they are individuals to be cherished and cultivated, reflecting the divine creation that each child represents.
