... A few ways to have fun with dry ice this Christmas. Christmas Cocktails There are many festive recipes on the internet on how to create a Christmas themed cocktail. Add a bit more flair by adding a nugget or two of dry ice to your drinks and witness the magical fog as it flows downward from the glass. **Make sure that all of the dry ice disappears before taking a sip** Christmas Punch Start with two punch or serving bowls, one bigger than the other. Start with the larger bowl and fill it with hot water. Place the smaller bowl inside of it and pour in the fruit punch ingredients. Then, add a few Canadian Dry Ice nuggets to the larger, water-filled outer bowl. This way, the illusion of a mystical fog will exist, and you won’t have to worry about any left-over dry ice at the bottom that someone may ingest. Food Presentation The presentation of food is becoming just as important as its taste. Presentation of food is the key to elevating all five senses into the eating experience and dry ice used in ceramic dishes can help elevate a dining experience. You can use larger dishes on the bottom with the hot water then place an elevated or taller dish with the food on top, add dry ice, and voila… you have yourself a mesmerizing display. Safety Advice: Contact with this ice can burn you badly, especially if ingested. When you handle dry ice, remember to wear protective gloves and use tongs to disperse the ice. #DryIce #christmas2024 #Christmas #yeg #yeglocal #yegbusiness #yegevents
