Metaphysical Bible Dictionary (the Revealing Word) A abate--To lessen; to moderate. In making a demonstration, when we reach the point where the mind changes from the negative to the positive state the troubled thoughts begin to abate. A certain set of negative ideas has run its course, and the restorative thought forces are in evidence. Abba--A word of endearment signifying father. It is only as we come to know our sonship, our true relation to God, that we enter into the consciousness of love and tender affiliation with Spirit, signified by the word Abba. (see Mark 14:36) abdicate--To let go; to relinquish; to renounce. The ability to abdicate is twofold in action: it eliminates the error, and it expands the good. When the ego consciously lets go and willingly gives up its personal ideas and loves, it has fulfilled the law of denial and is restored to the Father's house. abide--To continue in a fixed thought of God, the All-Good; to dwell in the Christ consciousness. Good morning!!!!!!! Hebrews 4:12-13 The Bible is the most amazing book ever written. God used human beings to record His thoughts and words in writing so that others could know Him (2 Pet. 1:20-21). The One who spoke the universe into existence still speaks just as powerfully through the pages of the Bible that you hold in your hands. At the moment of salvation, believers receive the Holy Spirit, and lines of communication with the Lord are established. Then, whenever the Scriptures are read, children of God can hear His voice, and the Spirit enables them to understand and put into practice what they have heard. The Bible isn’t just a good book that’s filled with comforting words; Scripture is effective and always achieves God’s purpose (Isa. 55:10-11). Today’s passage describes it as “active and alive,” and 1 Thessalonians 2:13 tells us the Word of God is “at work in you who believe.” This book has the power to change our life if we will believe the Lord and do what He says. God uses the Bible to transform us from the inside out. Before reading Scripture, ask Him to help you hear and understand what He’s saying. As you believe and obey, your spiritual hearing will become more acute, and your time in the Word will become an intimate conversation with the Lord. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽😊😊😊😊🌹🗣️🗣️🗣️

Men's Daily Devotional Tuesday, May 28, 2024 Scripture: 2 Timothy 4:2 “…preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction…” (NASB) Observation: I remember a few years back, when I first accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior, I was sitting in a Bible study listening to people share scripture and other stories. I remember feeling as if I was a part of the group, but I had nothing to share. Although the Bible has been part of my entire life, I never took the time to fully understand what it said. After that meeting, I grabbed my Bible and read with a new passion. I wanted to know what it was all about. How a young boy named David could slay a giant, how a river could suddenly wall up so people could walk through on dry land, or how a man like you and me could step out of a boat and walk on water, for a few steps anyway. The desire within me grew with each page I turned. Although my bookshelves are filled with this book and that, the Bible is my first choice. Every verse brings me newness of life or an answer to a longing question. In order to share the Word, we must first learn the Word. So I ask, “Do you know what it is all about? Are we spending time in God’s Word?” Application: Personal Application: Continue spending time with the Lord daily. Sow righteousness and reap the fruit of God's unfailing love.

Daily Meditations And Affirmations - October 27, 2024 Revelation 8:1 - "When the Lamb broke the seventh seal on the scroll, there was silence throughout heaven for about half an hour." Before the first angel sounded the trumpet, there was a half-hour of silence in heaven for the prayers of the saints to be laid before God. We, also, have the need for silence and separation to bring our prayers before God and be strengthened for our daily work. We believe that as we begin and are faithful to bow in silence and expectancy before Him, God will reveal Himself to us. You could begin by reading a portion of scripture (eg. praying some psalm verses back to God) and thanking Him for everything He has ever given you, then begin to intercede for your own household and children, the people that you minister to, your church and schools, and missions. Above all, meet with God. Romans 10:8,10 - "The word is near you, even in your mouth, and in your heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach…For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Everything we could ever need is waiting for us in the realm of the spirit with our name on it. Faith is the "currency" we use to transfer God's provision for us from the unseen realm of the spirit to the natural earthly realm. (Hebrews 11:1) "Now, Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." When you want to make a withdrawal from your faith account, speak the Word of faith. Don't talk about circumstances. Say what God says the outcome is going to be according to His Word. But don't put it in the future. Faith calls things as though they were. Affirmations: The light God is beginning to burn in me will draw many fish to me. My supply is there -- I gain momentum -- I stoke my fire -- I break the coldness and the waters -- as I dwell in the Holy Spirit. God is advancing me ahead -- even into a place of glory to glory as I move forward in my Christ calling. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

Week 28 Transformational Challenge Scripture Reading (Proverbs 18:15) “The heart of the prudent acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.” Reflection Knowledge is having information to be able to then apply wisdom, that is, knowing what to do with the information at hand. It means to have the ability to discern the signs of the times and to then judge between what is true and what is false. So, wisdom comes from learning the truth and then applying it to our present and future. Where does such truth lie? God! He is the source of all truth, and then through His word gives us the wisdom to know what to do with it. And a wise and prudent person will constantly seek to know the truth, and by that truth be set free. So, let’s take the advice of Proverbs 23:23 that says, “Buy the truth, and do not sell it, also wisdom and instruction and understanding.” Prayer and Contemplation Consider that Jesus says, meditate upon it, and listen to what He is saying to you and in the cross He has called us to bear.  And then let the Holy Spirit help you to follow and walk in it. 

Week 16 Transformation Challenge Scripture Reading Proverbs 2:2: “So that you incline your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding.” Reflection Wisdom is our ability to determine what is true from what is false, and that apply that knowledge to our lives. Now, the best source of wisdom is God and our reverence of Him. “For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.” (Proverbs 2:6) And in Proverbs 9:10 is says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” And the reason this is so because he created it all and He knows how this world and people work. And so, when we go to Him and search out His wisdom, He gives freely and without reproach His wisdom to guide us. Therefore, let’s tune into God through spending time in His word and in prayer. Prayer and Contemplation The challenge is to take this word, meditate upon it, and listen to God in what He is saying for your life through it. And then let the Holy Spirit help you to follow and walk in it.

TRANSFORMATIONAL CHALLENGE Week 46 Transformational Challenge Scripture Reading 1 Timothy 4:15 – “Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.” Reflection It’s not knowing about what the Bible says, it’s about getting it from our brain and into our hearts. But even then, it’s acting upon what we know and now believe. It is then that people will see the change in our hearts and lives and will want it for their lives. Further, by doing this, God gets all the glory, which is the way it should be, because in truth it is God who is giving us the wisdom to understand, and the courage upon what we know is true. Therefore, while we need to ponder what we read and what is going on around us, there is a time to stop pondering and start acting. And that is when we’ll see this miracle of a changed life happen. Prayer and Contemplation Consider what Bible is saying, meditate upon it, and listen to what God is saying to you.  And then let the Holy Spirit help you to follow and walk in it.
