What if.... Instead of spending $100 per table on floral centerpieces that you're going to donate or throw away at the end of the event, you used real money to make $50 or $100 centerpieces and gave them away as door prizes at the end of the event? #randomthoughtsbyLiz #attendeeengagement ------- There are more fun ideas like this in my weekly newsletter: The Engaged Attendee https://lnkd.in/gW5rMxUq
Love it, but could be trouble for public sector/government clients.
Love the concept! Do they come with an alarm that sounds if anyone pulls a dollar bill out before it's awarded to someone? 🤓
Liz Lathan, CMP, another great idea is in lieu of a centerpieces you could create an awesome sign piece explaining the charity of choice in the local community and what the donation will provide. Present cheques at the end of the conference to the charities of choice and recieve some tax benefits while doing good in the local community.
This is the most American style of centerpiece I ever came across 😂
I will order one of those Liz Lathan, CMP Then I can affrd to go on your fabulous getaways. Very cute and reminds me of what they do at showers to raise money. I think the bachelor parties have an advantage because they do not have to make centerpieces. The men just throw the money in like at a poker game. It's like the bombardiers. Love it
It's a clever idea. You can do some incentive ideas. For example, for every x amount iof ideas you contributed to a thank tank you get 2 chances to the drawing. Another can be using it like a scavenger hunt type event where connect with x many positions you get 2/3 chances in the box to win.
This would be great for events on college campuses and students could enter to win!! ❤️
I love this! I've made a few money trees and money cakes for event decor pieces. They are then gifted to the guest of honor, but this is a great idea.

9moOur team recently went on a sales trip in Dallas and used these “book vases” as centerpieces. We bought Trader Joe’s flowers and gave the vases as gifts (wrapped in our branded bags and gift wrapping) as gift to those that attended. We told our “story of MGM Resorts” and our clients loved them! We spent the floral budget on the vases as gifts and they were awesome conversation starters at the table! I challenged each sales rep to choose a book that best represents their hotel. I was the “Secret Garden” as I am corporate sales and have such a variety of hotels, providing options for all groups! 💐
