Investing in others is good for both of you, but good is measured differently. Your help can be life-changing for them whereas it will be life-giving for you.

We really have to take a look at ourselves and those we CHOOSE to follow. Having read John's new book, and read and studied most of his other books on leadership, I can't say that there are any earth shatteringly NEW principles in HRL. But what is new about this book and its teaching and training, is how John organizes his thoughts and writing to apply differently. He puts it in a way that makes you want to assess which category you really ACT in. Which category you THINK in... Is it about you, or them? Is it about what YOU get out of it, or what THEY get out of it? I believe we know who is and isn't a High Road Leader. I'm convinced that we know a low road leader when we see one! We just put it aside because it's easier to "go along, to get along". That automatically puts us middle of the road. We're saying, "I'm willing to be led by a low road leader, because at least I get what I want out of it. I know, I know - I don't like what they say, or how they talk to people, or how they act. I really wish they would say or act differently. But at least I get what I think is right. The way I think it should be. The way I think it should go." And that's short-sighted thinking. That says that 1+1 = 1, maybe 2. High performing teams require everyone to give, to serve. And in short order. 1+1 = 3! Effectiveness multiplies. Achievement multiplies. Success multiplies. It's the process to the goal - not the goal. Take the assessment. Read the book. Join a Mastermind or take training on it. Self-improvement is worth the effort! And the Ends does not justify the Means. The Means Matters. #HighRoadLeader #LiveToLead #SquareCircle

Just completed an insightful session on Foundations of Leadership led by Teena George. The discussion provided valuable perspectives on what it means to be an effective leader and the core principles that underpin successful leadership. I encourage everyone to pursue this session and think about how we can apply them in our daily interactions and leadership practices. Let's continue to grow and support each other in our journey towards becoming better leaders. #computacenterindia #learninganddevelopment
