📣You're invited to our live session on August 14th 2:00PM ET on Curing Simulation for High-Tech Consumer Electronics!📣 Curing processes are essential to the manufacturing of consumer products that use thermosetting polymers (such as epoxy resins) to bond components. The use of epoxies and other cured structural adhesives is common in many industries. The curing reaction can induce chemical shrinkage strains and residual stresses, which can result in damage to the adherents or warpage of the bonded assembly. In this webinar, we will review the following key objectives related to Curing: - Abaqus cure modeling capability - Coupled multiphysics solver - Adhesive curing - Curing of composites - Multiscale - Prediction of residual stress and warpage ➡️Reserve your spot now: https://lnkd.in/eGkfrS4i

⚡ 𝗜𝗻𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 - Upcoming Free Event ⚡ IANUS Simulation GmbH is releasing its new, cutting-edge solution for injection molding simulations, which will become available in StrömungsRaum and, therefore, simply accessible to everyone. 🌐 Link: https://lnkd.in/eVyaxUJq 🗓️ Date: May 08, 2024 🕙 Time (CET): 10:00 - 11:30 am 🎥 The video below demonstrates the filling phase in the injection molding of a lever, such as those used in the automotive sector for gear selection or as a turn signal. The polymer is a non-Newtonian fluid, meaning its viscosity varies during filling. #engineeredmind #engineering #cfd #simulation #InjectionMolding #InjectionMoulding #MoldMaking

The event organised for the simulation of thermo fluid dynamics, CFD simulation for the injection molding applications are insighful. The prediction of the cooling model for the adapting cooling temperature of the mold in uniform pattern within short span of time for each single shot of the mold increasing the quality and productivity. The importance of the cooling circuit is transversal on all the field. even though the application was different from my work. I learned new way of approach for improving the products of our platform and opting new tech for the cooling pathway. #mecspe2024 #injectionmolding #cfd

TPRC is at the forefront of the latest developments in thermoplastic composites. The recent advancements in material characterization for forming simulations were highlighted during an in-depth SAMPE webinar last April 2024, co-hosted with AniForm Engineering B.V.. TPRC’s contributions focused on in-plane shear characterization and ply-ply friction modeling, both crucial for enhancing simulation accuracy. The webinar also discussed the newest ply-ply friction tester, offering deeper insights into the friction behavior of thermoplastic composites during hot press forming. These discussions provided valuable insights into the innovative tools and methodologies driving the future of composite manufacturing.
