Last week we said farewell to our dear Kevin. Clarke, who decided to retire after 45 years within the Lloyd’s Salvage Arbitration Branch. On that occasion, we celebrated his incredible career with members from across the marine industry and thanked him for his amazing dedication, diligence and selflessness throughout the years. Kevin has been an important part of our team, being driven to change things and he really made a difference for the Lloyd’s Corporation and the whole market. Kevin, I thought that it was not that long ago when I visited Lloyd's for the first time and met you. As a junior claims handler, I appreciated so much your willingness to assist me with learning all about salvage and LOF. Time is really running fast - it was back in 1997. Thank you once again and enjoy your, I believe, more relaxed and so deserved phase of your life!!!

1moKevin. Clarke - A very happy retirement, its hard to imagine an LOF without someone saying, "You'd better let Kevin know we're on for the vessel." A mainstay and reliable constant feature of the Lloyd's Salvage Group, and very much the brand name for LOF - it is hard to imagine a salvage where Kevin's name does not feature. All the best and you will be missed.
