Lockheed Martin’s Post

On this day in 2022, the Artemis generation took a giant leap forward with the historic launch of the Orion spacecraft to the Moon. During this 25.5-day mission, Orion journeyed farther into deep space than any human-rated spacecraft. This milestone marks the beginning of a new era for human exploration, laying the groundwork for humanity’s return to the Moon and our future journey to Mars. This mission was the first step in NASA's vision for establishing a sustainable presence on the lunar surface, that will eventually take us farther into the solar system than we've ever gone. The next step in NASA's lunar exploration is the Artemis III mission, which aims to land the first woman and the first person of color on the Moon. This mission is crucial for establishing a sustainable human presence on the lunar surface and will utilize SpaceX's Starship vehicle for the lunar landing. Following Artemis III, NASA plans to continue developing the Lunar Gateway, a space station in lunar orbit that will serve as a staging point for missions to the Moon and beyond. The Gateway will support long-term lunar exploration and serve as a hub for international and commercial partners. Ultimately, these efforts are part of NASA's broader vision to use the Moon as a stepping stone for future human missions to Mars and other destinations in the solar system...🚀

I believe this mission will inspire a new generation of scientists and engineers to pursue careers in space exploration and contribute to the development of space infrastructure. The possibilities for what we can achieve in space are truly limitless, and I look forward to seeing what the future holds.

Lockheed Martin Hi, I believe I have some new military inventions that you might like. Would love to discuss them in messenger. One is a new metal design that can better protect or fully protect military vehicles and aircrafts from enemy fire. Thank you
