Whether you’d like to share a project that’s already started, or you have the early stages of an idea for one, LOCSU would like to hear from you. LOCSU will then help you to develop this into a full idea and will support you into developing and sharing your work at the NOC in 2025. This could be through poster abstracts, case studies or an oral presentation to highlight and promote your work. When you were in optometry school, how much did you learn about patient education beyond the chair? 🤔 I remember learning about what to *say*🗣 and how to *say it*...but what about those of us who aren't auditory learners? 👉🏼 70% of our patients need education beyond discussion 👈🏼 (read that again! 👀) We're doing our patients a disservice by relying solely on our conversations with them. We're doing our patients *and* our practice a disservice by passing off the responsibility of patient education to third party entities.
