Yesterday we announced our recent acquisition of the Uley North Graphite Project, strategically located in one of Australia's most prolific coarse graphite provinces. This venture places us just 100km away from Renascor’s Siviour Graphite Deposit, the world's second-largest Proven Graphite Reserve.   As Renascor secures a monumental A$185M government loan to accelerate their Siviour Project, Westar is positioned to capitalise on this booming sector. The U.S. has greenlit Ioneer’s Rhyolite Ridge project, set to produce lithium and boron in Nevada by 2028. Aiming to support the EV industry, the mine will produce materials for 370,000 EVs annually, increasing U.S. lithium output fourfold. It’s expected to generate substantial lithium carbonate and boric acid output, shifting to high-purity lithium hydroxide by year four. This morning, Minister Rebecca Schulz joined ERA’s CEO Justin Riemer at E3 Lithium to announce a $5 million investment to support novel technology to produce battery-grade lithium from locally sourced industrial brine. This investment represents a significant advancement in leveraging Alberta's lithium resources and diversify the province's low-carbon economy. This funding is sourced from the Government of Alberta’s Technology Innovation and Emissions Reduction (TIER) fund. E3's $13.2 million demonstration project aims to test technology for extracting brine from local well sites, processing it into lithium concentrate, and refining it into battery-grade lithium hydroxide. The project has the potential to produce and sell lithium hydroxide, with discussions already underway for off-take agreements with auto manufacturers for electric vehicle resources. Greeniron H2 AB is now preparing to deliver fossil-free iron in Sandviken, Sweden. To secure this further expansion, GreenIron has raised SEK 100 million of additional capital from existing shareholders. This also paves the way for a larger financing round within the next six to nine months. In April, GreenIron obtained the environmental permit for its first full-scale production unit in Sandviken. Construction of the facility is now ongoing, and GreenIron is approaching commercial production of fossil-free iron by the end of 2024. Edward Murray, CEO:  “We are grateful for the confidence that our shareholders have shown in our technology and our ability to deliver fossil-free material. This enables us to continue our journey towards our goal of 300 furnaces by 2030, in the pursuit of a sustainable future.” Our current focus lies in establishing production in Sandviken and delivering fossil-free iron as soon as possible.
