I always say this…there is a reason why it is called a “Motherboard”. If anyone built their own PC from scratch; investing in the parts & components to fitting it all by hand & screwdrivers to running it up with PC software. Without the motherboard, the PC will not function. It’s the body of the PC. Observe the intricate, fine details. The Motherboard explains it all about Mothers.

11 things I’ve learned in 54 years Celebrating my 54th birthday over the weekend, I took some time to reflect. We’re all evolving and growing, making mistakes and learning some lessons along the way. Here are a few insights I picked up during my 54 laps around the sun: 1. At times, the best way to move ahead is to let go. 2. Being grounded and present is the most luxurious and exotic place on earth. 3. Confidence comes from doing hard things and learning how to bounce back from setbacks, not from hollow praise or participation trophies. 4. A freeing way to walk through the world: give generously, don’t keep score. 5. Fast > perfect. 6. Self-reliant people who take agency and responsibility for their outcomes are far happier and more successful than those who blame others and play the victim. 7. Legends do the work. 8. A core responsibility is to regularly put ourselves out of business with an upgraded version. 9. Kindness is a force multiplier. Anger, fear, and greed are pollutants. 10. Laughter is miracle-grow for the soul. 11. The purpose of life is a life with a purpose. Mine is to elevate others, love unconditionally, and help unlock human creativity to improve humanity. As my son’s 11th birthday is coming up, here are 11 pieces of advice for him that I hope would resonate with you, too: 1. There’s a way out of every problem. You must be able to know when it’s time to ask someone for help. 2. Even the worst day cannot last more than 24 hours. 3. Advertising is not for real. No product will make one’s life perfect or guarantee happiness. The only one who can decide on what makes you happy is YOU. 4. Every word we speak affects others. With unkind words, less is more. With uplifting words, more is more. 5. You’re writing your own story every day. How do you want to be remembered? 6. Hand-write thank you notes. This gesture means you appreciate the person enough to sit down and write. 7. Look at the bright light. Squint if needed. 8. Always be connected with your life’s purpose, it’s usually one that makes you feel blissfully alive. 9. Make sure you’re never the reason someone feels bad. 10. Hang in there. Look forward not backward

After watching the video, I was reminded of an axiom I thought of several years ago and have tried to follow since. “What you feed will grow.” If we feed the positive and productive thoughts and actions, that's what we'll receive. If we feed negative and unproductive thoughts and actions, then that's what we'll receive. Many call it Karma It's not that we don't receive a measure of good and bad things in life, but if we want more of the good, the positive, and the helpful, we have to feed those thoughts and actions to enjoy them more abundantly.
