Some designs that died before getting their due. Good things always come from killing off concepts. For instance, this color palette will make a come back as will some of the little details. I particularly liked the idea of using a wavy edge to these PSLs to make them stand out. #packagingdesigner #packagingideas #productpackaging #thedesignersleague #packagingdesigninspo #bestofpackaging #printdesign #packagingdesigner #packaginglove #packaginginspiration #foodpackaging #drinkpackaging #labeldesign #foodbranding #beveragebranding #packagingconcepts #brewery #brewerydesign #brewerybranding #beerbranding #beer

An egg, is an egg, is an egg. Isn’t it? Trying to differentiate one egg offering from another is a notoriously difficult task. With the price of most basic eggs, shooting up in recent months, it will be fair for any consumer to think that all eggs have suddenly gone, proper premium! It used to be that they were either free range, or not. A fairly simple choice, but this little upstart really caught my eye. It’s pitched as the egg with ‘gorgeous yolks for foodie folks’. The structure is quite a move away from typical eggbox cartons and the pack Graphics feature both foils AND spot varnishes. Opulent is an understatement! Quite a way to stand out. If your competition follows a traditional everyday path, then breaking with the norm by creating a super premium challenger to an everyday offering by focusing on a specific product quality, is a fantastic way to stand out.#BrandDesign, #PackagingDesign, #Packaging, #Marketing —————————————— If you like this post then subscribe to my monthly newsletter. Frosted with sprinkles? Let's talk Pop Tarts… Great brands don’t happen by accident – they’re built from the beginning by design. Inspired by Unfrosted, the new Jerry Seinfeld movie, we took a nostalgic look back at the original Kellogg’s Pop Tarts packaging which debuted in 1964. 🔵 What did Pop Tarts get right in their super successful product launch? • Starting with a distinctive product name. Pop-Tarts was originally called “Fruit Scone” but after taking a cue from Andy Warhol’s Pop Art movement, Kellogg’s changed the name to the much catchier Pop-Tarts instead. • They set the stage for a great user experience by positioning the product name inside a cloud of pastry aroma and emphasizing the convenience of a “heat and eat” breakfast. • Diagonally positioned product photography was a daring and modern look that helped position and differentiate the new brand. • The cute toaster icon with the message “Just Heat in Toaster” was a smart way to show customers how easy it was to heat the pastry. The toaster icon eventually got his own spot light, becoming Pop-Tarts “Milton the Toaster”, star of TV ads and prominently featured on packaging. • The crayon inspired color palette paired with its own illustration clearly indicates flavor. Almost 60 years after being invented, Pop-Tarts are still hugely popular in the US with 86% market share of the toaster pastry category in food, drug and mass merchandise stores. Last summer the brand honored its successful 1960s debut with throwback packaging inspired by the original box design for Pop-Tarts’ Frosted Strawberry pastries. * * * * * * * * * * ✅ Why do you think Pop-Tarts have remained so popular? * * * * * * * * * * I’m Nancy Frame, principal at Nancy Frame Design. Passion project announcement time! After several years away from the #CPG world, a few friends and I decided to create a brand that embodies our lifestyle and builds a community for like-minded individuals. We saw an opportunity for simplicity in a complicated world, where people can come together, unwind, and enjoy a good beer without any strings attached. In our busy lives, some things matter and some don’t—choosing a beer should be easy. So every Tuesday night and on most weekends, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work. Staying true to our beliefs, we wanted a product we would proudly switch to ourselves. After a thorough search, we partnered with our friends at Red Truck Beer Company, who had exactly what we were looking for: a light lager comparable to the major brands. Next, we teamed up with Dana Lu Graphic Design, who were some how able to filter our chaotic messaging into an awesome brand we're really excited about. Designing cans and boxes we could be proud of, we collaborated with Canvas Craft Industries for screen-printed matte-finished cans and Great Little Box Company for a brown craft-style finish on traditional boxes. With the support of many friends in the industry, I am extremely excited to introduce Who Cares Beverage Company. Our first product, Who Cares Crispy Lager, will be available for sale in both 6 and 15 pack cans across BC starting June 10th. Look out for us in stores in the coming weeks. Our website will be up shortly you can check out our Linkedin page to check out our skus in the mean time. As stated right on our can: No one cares what you're drinking. Life's about moments, not labels. No stress. Let the can do the sweating. #WhoCares #Community #BCBeer #LetTheCanDoTheSweating

I'll tell you a little secret about saving some money at a printing service. Get your logo professionally done! While it may be tempting to go cheaper or to make it yourself if you hand your local printer a bad-quality logo...You'll either be charged or just weather a low-quality print. Everyone eventually needs a logo, either to start creating recognition or to place on important documents. As your business grows it's worth the cost of investing in a logo! https://lnkd.in/gpgrZV-h
My favorite client is back! You may know her as @SweetPerfections and the posters on her delicious sweets that I helped come to life. I’ve pondered about her aesthetic and look for a while now and having a chance to work with her with the logo was amazing. Here’s an insider's peak to the idea behind her logo! The main logo was created with baking in mind since my client doesn't focus only on one specific sweet. I explored baking tools and found the whisk, the most recognizable one, involved heavily with sweets. The whisk mixes the bowl, where the dough is shown, through fancy line work. The logo is vertically created to be used and fit onto any label or sticker. I focused on creating these designs with the person who will use them in mind! #graphicdesign #advertizing #cupcakes #sweets #logodesign #branding #yxe #local Check the sweetest goods: https://lnkd.in/g3iTinbe

When painting a room, it's not a bad idea to keep some left-over paint for future touch-ups. But gallon sized cans take up a lot of space. Instead, use clear glass jars (like for pasta sauce, baby food, etc.) to store some for later use. They'er easier to store an make finding th color you're looking for a breeze. • #HomeownersGuide • #HomeImprovementHacks • #HomeownerTips • #Homeownership

Soup is really difficult to take a good photo of. Its flat surface doesn't have enough texture to make it look appetizing. It also reflects studio lights to create unintended bright spots and glare. And solid ingredients in the soup will sink if you're not fast enough to take your photos. But none of that means you can't take great photos of soup. The trick is to: 🥄Add a dynamic element, like we do here with a pour. 🌿Strategically garnish the soup to break up its surface. 🌚Contrast the soup's color with darker elements around it. We know these tricks because we have decades of experience with all kinds of food products. That's how we know what to do and what not to do when it comes to soups. We're soup experts, if you will. ~~ Photo taken for Karola's Kitchen. Follow our LinkedIn page for more #foodphotography tips and tricks. ~~

The finishing touches on a drink can turn it from simple to stunning. Garnishes like a twist of lemon, a fresh mint sprig, or even a dusting of spice add character to the drink and can be the “wow” factor that catches the viewer’s attention. Showcasing these details not only makes the drink feel more inviting but also adds a touch of sophistication to the image. By focusing on these tiny additions, you elevate the drink, making it feel special and carefully crafted – an enticing draw for anyone looking at the menu. The right techniques bring depth and personality to drink photography, transforming each shot into an experience that sells more than just a beverage – it sells a moment. With lighting, color, angles, and garnishes in mind, you can make any drink the star, capturing the attention and imagination of every viewer. #prettydrinks #drinkpretty #yummm #drinks #dallasbars #craftedmixology #dallasdrinks #dfwdrinks #dfwbars #dallasdrinkphotographer #dallasdrinkphotography #dallasfoodphotographer #dallasfoodphotography #drinkporn #prettymocktails #drinklocal #dallasphotography #dallasfoodstyling #prettycocktails #drinkstyling #sophistication #austindrinkphotography #cocktails #austindrinkphotographer #austinbars #drinkstagram #cocktailhour

Why is marketing like baking cookies? 🍪📈 1. Ingredients matter: Know your audience (sugar, spice). 2. Timing is key: Post at peak times (bake at right temp). 3. Presentation counts: Eye-catching visuals (delicious decor). Get your brand oven-ready! 👩🍳 #MarketingMagic #BrandStrategy #BakingSuccess
