"Amidst recent concerns over work-induced stress, fostering a culture of support and camaraderie within our workplace is paramount. At Motorola Solutions, our Cloud Platform Engineering (CPE) team has pioneered a tradition under the visionary leadership of our director Anudeep Muttavarapu, aimed at nurturing our team's spirit while celebrating diversity. In this tradition, our 125-strong CPE team, spanning across 3 continents, is divided into four committees: Recognition, Community builders, Newsletter, and Speakers. Each committee is empowered to curate activities and events, fostering a vibrant tapestry of interactions and ideas. These initiatives transcend borders, allowing us to connect, laugh, and innovate across time zones. Through leadership talks, internal newsletters, and cultural exchanges, we not only bond as colleagues but also cultivate empathy and understanding. The Telecom Infra Project Diversity Committee was launched to focus on enabling a broad range of voices to drive telecom innovation. This committee seeks to highlight the business value of diversity in its many forms - how talent representing different backgrounds and gender can drive positive change in the telecom industry. TIP has demonstrated the value of a collaborative approach to solving hard problems and driving change. The committee is leveraging that same collaborative spirit to build a stronger connectivity ecosystem by enabling diverse voices to propel innovation and connect people. This committee is tapping into the talents, vision, and insights of multiple telecom companies and industry experts to move the needle on diversity in the telecom space.
