What does being rich mean to you? Is it just about hitting a number, or is there more to it? In episode 42 of Best Story Wins, our guest Gretchen Leslie, President at I Will Teach You To Be Rich, shared how she and her team are empowering people to become rich, whatever that means to each individual. Gretchen also gave us a window into her hands-on approach to brand storytelling, what it takes to develop creative content, and how this correlates to creating momentum on a business level. We also discussed: - How promoting confidence and joy instead of guilt and shame leads people to overcome apathy, leading to more successful brand-building. - How developing brand and style guides enhances efficiency in content production - And of course, the importance of finding a balance between financial management and personal fulfillment to become truly rich. - As well as much more. Thank you to Gretchen for being on and being a great guest! This episode of Best Story Wins is available on: Spotify: https://lnkd.in/gw_UKrsP Apple Podcasts: https://lnkd.in/gGEKUk7a

It Depends - 🦻 Meryl Evans, CPACC (deaf) Seems like that is the answer to more and more questions these days, and caption best practices are no different. Meryl does have a guide, and there are some clear priorities (readable and boring), but there is also nuance, in the length, placing of line breaks and more. It's to important to leave captions to the automagic auto captions, as they're just not up to task yet. Invest in your captions, expand the reach of your video assets. I sure enjoyed learning from the expert. Thanks again Meryl Meryl Evans: Captions, Clean, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious | Turn the Lens podcast with Jeff Frick, Episode 35 YouTube - https://lnkd.in/gd8dJuUr - Spotify - https://lnkd.in/gBTN6NwC - Transcript and Show Notes - https://lnkd.in/ghKyaDKY - or wherever you podcast #Captions #Captioned #Caption #Clean

Thank you to Jeff Frick for including me on an episode of Turn the Lens. I love the title! "Captions, Clean, Supercalifragiisticexpialidocious." It has captions and a transcript. You can watch the video, listen to the audio, or read the transcript. I love that Jeff provides multiple options for consuming the episode! Dynamic captions are a growing problem. I love how Jeff puts it: "Captions are for information, not entertainment." He quotes me. "Captions are not meant to be your brand. Stick with boring captions, more people will get your message, more people will benefit, and you will get to expand your reach."
