I just finished learning about Google Tag Manager (GTM) and thought I’d share some key insights. If you’re still manually adding code to your website, it’s time to consider GTM. Here are some benefits of using GTM instead of handling everything manually: User-Friendly: GTM is built for marketers, not developers. It provides a simple interface that makes it easy to add and manage tracking codes without needing any technical expertise. Centralized Tag Management: All your tracking tags in one place – GTM eliminates the need to update multiple code snippets across your website, saving time and reducing the chance for mistakes. Version Control: With GTM, you get full version history for all changes made to your tags, making it easy to revert back if anything goes wrong. GTM includes a built-in debug mode, allowing you to test if your tags are implemented correctly before going live.
