In celebration of Europe Day, it's the perfect moment to share something exciting. The European Startup Network (ESN) just unveiled its new leadership team and a strategic 10-point plan aimed at making Europe a competitive powerhouse for startups. 🇪🇺 Fittingly, at our flagship event yesterday - the AustrianStartups Summit, ESN's new CEO, Clark Parsons, led a thought-provoking panel on technological sovereignty in Europe. The discussion highlighted a critical issue: the dominance of US funds in European startup growth rounds. It's clear we need to level the playing field. The ESN is stepping up, uniting 38 national startup organizations to be the voice for startups in Brussels. With our 10 point plan for a competitive continent we highlight the policy priorities we will be working on in the coming years. Those priorities include making it easier for startups to operate across borders, introduce pan-European tech visas, standardize stock options programs, and attract more investments into venture capital from pension and insurance funds.
