Wow! Explains A LOT! Stopped me in my tracks. Thanks Holly Morris & Alex Partridge for sheding light on something thats been niggling me for years! For as long as I can remember I've questioned how long things last (degrees, course, etc). ⏳️ Or once the dopamine rush of a new creative idea has worn off, how long will it be before I hit the crash? 💥 What happens if this idea takes off, I go full throttle, create a whirlwind and then lose the drive & let people down? 😵💫 When I was barely conscious of this, I would seek out people who could enable me to get the idea across the line, or who could deliver on a idea (& therefore less flakey than me). Ive come to realise theres a couple of issues with this; 1) my dreams & goals are my dreams & goals. Yes, leverage other people's skills to realise your dreams BUT its a fine line between blending skills and expecting others to do it for you. And, I suspect I used the excuse to seek out 'help' as a deliberate attempt to avoid the uncomfortableness of having to do it myself. Subconsciously sabotaging the idea to stay 'safe'. 2) The idea that I can't follow through or that I have an untrainable skill gap is misguided self awareness. Someone, somewhere, at some point in time, may have said something which I chose to internalise as 'I cant'. I looked for evidence to back this up by replaying unhelpful scenarios & tagged those memories with the label of failure, none finisher, needs help etc etc It's a fine line between knowing your abilities so you can find complimenting skills and letting those lacking skills shame you.... As part of my mindfulness practice I remind myself everyday of my gifts of creativity and my thirst for inquiry. I'm a creator and my medium for delivery is self expression. Managing ADHD shame & over thinking is a life long practice. My brain feels like a sandstorm of ideas. I just can't follow up on all of them. But, whats the rush....?? Sure, i risk some ideas falling by the wayside but, my purpose is to keep creating and keep expressing. And, what was meant to be will follow with perfect timing. ♾️😍
Perfectly explained Holly Morris ❤️

What a beautiful message by Zomato 👏👏 In business, competition can push both parties to innovate and reach new heights. It’s a reminder that the presence of competitors isn’t just about rivalry; it’s also about shared growth and evolution within an industry. The real victory lies in fostering a competitive landscape that encourages collaboration, respects boundaries, and brings out the best in everyone involved. At the end of the day, we’re all working toward something greater than ourselves, and showing care for competitors adds depth to our own success. It’s not just about winning; it’s about lifting each other up to build a better industry, better products, and, ultimately, a better world.

🍽️🚀 Envisioning the Future of Food Tech! Imagine this: Swiggy officially listed, with Zomato tipping its hat in appreciation—a nod to years of healthy rivalry that have fueled innovation and growth in the industry. While this is a marketing strategy for now, it paints a hopeful picture of what’s to come. If I were the CTO in that future moment, here’s how I’d announce this milestone: “Today marks a new chapter in the food tech industry. Swiggy’s listing isn’t just a win for us, but a celebration of how far our entire ecosystem has come. To our competitors and friends at Zomato, thank you for pushing us to be our best. Here’s to a future where our shared innovation keeps redefining how India dines and delights, one meal at a time!” Until then, let’s keep watching, innovating, and building a future that we can all be proud of! I’d love to hear your perspectives: How do you think such healthy competition drives progress in the tech and food delivery space? And what other future shifts do you foresee in our industry? Drop your thoughts in the comments! Let’s discuss and inspire each other with our insights. 🚀💬 #FutureOfFoodTech #SwiggyIPO #Zomato #Innovation #Leadership #FoodDelivery #CTOVisions

When Zomato Cheers for Swiggy 's Success 🍟🥤 👏 Hats off to Zomato India for this genius move—celebrating Swiggy’s listing with style! Here’s what makes this post pure marketing magic: ✨ Turning Rivals into Relatable Content Instead of rivalry, it’s friendly fire! This keeps audiences smiling and brands memorable. 🤝 Co-opetition at Its Best By recognizing Swiggy, Zomato doesn’t just share the spotlight—it owns it, too! 🎨 Visual Storytelling The eye-catching design + witty message = brand loyalty without a single delivery. 💡 Key Takeaway: Sometimes, celebrating your competitor is the ultimate flex. It shows confidence, builds goodwill, and gives audiences something they love to see! Would you cheer for your competitors like this? 😄

The gesture by Zomato congratulating Swiggy on their stock market listing is truly heartwarming and professional. It shows that healthy competition can coexist with mutual respect and goodwill in the business world. Such actions help build a more collaborative corporate culture in India. 🤝 However, speaking of their combined market dominance - while having two strong players has brought efficiency and reliability to food delivery, it does raise some concerns. Looking at telecom sector parallels is interesting - after their duopoly, we saw coordinated price movements between dominant players. What do you think: Are there enough possibilities of potential price coordination of platform fees in the food delivery space? Also, how do you see this impacting the restaurant partners and customers who heavily depend on these platforms? 🤔

Absolutely loving Zomato's approach to Swiggy's IPO debut - Instead of rivalry, they went with camaraderie. 👏 A few marketing lessons here: ✔️ Celebrate Competitors: Shows confidence and maturity, which reflects well on your brand. ✔️ Think Different: This unexpected move led to massive engagement and shares – sometimes, thinking outside the box is what creates virality. ✔️Make It Relatable: The “Jai and Veeru” nod to Bollywood instantly connects with the audience and adds a fun twist. A branding win that’s all over social feeds! How often do you see brands cheering on their competition? #MarketingTips #SwiggyIPO #Zomato
