At my internship, I helped out with many different art projects, especially the ones where the kids had to get their hands painted for handprints. I also put together art portfolios with all the students artwork throughout the year in binders so that they could take them home and look at them. For Groundhog Day, the students made a tunnel and they each took a turn pretending to be the Groundhog coming up to see his shadow. For the students Easter party, I got to watch the kids participate in an egg drop. It was so fun to see all the reactions and their excitement. I also got to help them do an Easter egg hunt in the playground. Many times throughout my internship, I would pull the students aside and help them work on assignments. I also worked specifically on letters with the student that had dyslexia. I also cut out hole punched and filed papers when needed. Great. Good.
