Is it time to question your traditions? Traditions are wonderful, but ask yourself if everyone is still enjoying them or whether the time and effort is worth it to you and your family. Ask family members which traditions they really enjoy. Then think about altering those traditions to better suit your busy lifestyle.

Every guest is special to us, and we cherish the time we spend together. We are always looking for ways to honor this sacred and special time for both our guests and their loved ones. When entering our Home, visitors will now have a special reminder that is lit only when one of our guests is preparing for their journey home. Being mindful of your presence may look like taking an extra moment to breathe. It may look like letting go of the other cares of the day and quieting yourself. It can look different for all of us—but for everyone we hope it will serve as a reminder to be present and bring extra care and intention. (Text reads: A lantern serves as a guiding light home. If the lantern is lit, one of our guests is completing their journey home. Please be mindful of your presence to honor and respect this sacred time.)

We often treat ceremonies as sacred, remarkable events separated from the everyday life. And while some ceremonies certainly are - weddings, graduations, the birth of a child, rites of passage, etc. - what if you could integrate the power of ceremony in the day-to-day. Want to let go of a past love? Create a ceremony to do so. Want to welcome in good health or a feeling of gratitude for the home that keeps you safe? Create a ceremony. Sandra Ingerman shares just how important ceremony is to shamanic traditions - and gives ideas for how ceremony can be brought into our lives as a regular practice. #sandraingerman #shamanism #shamanicpractice #shamanicwisdom #ceremony
