FIND THE TOOL. Newest from Jews Can Shoot. Guns are tools because they are inanimate objects requiring human intervention and cannot function independently. A gun is a designed device with a specific purpose, and like all tools, it remains ineffective until operated by an individual. https://lnkd.in/gTEts3ke

The AR-15 has become as synonymous with Americana as apple pie, blue jeans and fast cars. An article by The Wall Street Journal might be trying to warn us about our obsession with “America’s weapon” which was used in the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump. Our fixation with this rifle is quite profound. We went from private citizens possessing just 400K of these guns in the 1990s to over 20M today. What changed? In 1994, the bi-partisan Federal Assault Weapons Ban was enacted. It was supported by Presidents Ronald Reagan, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton. Constitutional challenges to this bill were denied by a conservative U.S. Supreme Court. In 2004, the Assault Weapons Ban expired and the mass production of assault weapons began. Who said too much of a good thing was bad? Uvalde, Aurora, Sandy Hook and Parkland are all towns in America but we know these names for a different reason because they were the locations of mass shootings of innocent people. The weapon of choice? You guessed it = AR-15. It’s easy to buy, fix and shoot. I have used this weapon many times for target shooting. America’s history has shown it usually needs “heart-attack” moments to change our way of life. It took a Civil War and the deaths of +600K Americans to enact Amendments abolishing slavery, protecting equal rights and providing blacks with the right to vote. A Great Depression causing 25% unemployment helped usher in legislation placing safeguards on our financial systems and safety nets for citizens. The Civil Rights Movement along with the asssasinations of Medgar Evers, Malcom X, JFK and MLK, prompted civil rights, voting and fair housing laws for protected classes. We were just millimeters away from losing a President. The warning shots have been fired. America needs to change now! #commonsense #safety #laws #guns #america

The Nobody Needs An AR15 Nobody Needs A Whiny Little Bitch Either shirt from Shibtee Clothing brings an irreverent joke to the ongoing gun control debate in a confrontational manner. While some may see humor in its crude wordplay, others find the message needlessly antagonistic. Discussions around limiting access to semi-automatic weapons intended for military use remain controversial with reasonable people on both sides. Policy proposals in this arena often become entangled with partisan politics and cultural signifiers, impeding meaningful progress. Most agree that curtailing mass shootings and firearm deaths should unite rather than divide us. However, disagreements linger over how best to balance individuals' rights with public safety. Both major positions warrant consideration and understanding, even from opposed perspectives. - https://lnkd.in/gP2eE9eS

Supreme Court strikes down Trump-era ban on bump stocks | CNN Politics https://buff.ly/3XkKWkL The current definition of a machine gun is a device that fires multiple rounds per each human pull of the trigger. The Supreme Court has tried to interpret this to allow bump stocks. So Congress should redefine machine guns as follows. This definition will also include future guns that are fired by thought waves or fingers. “A machine gun is defined as a firearm capable of discharging a sustained rate of fire exceeding X rounds per minute or Y rounds per second." You can specify the exact values of X and Y based on the requirements and considerations of the law.

I generally don't post a lot. I will occasionally share something I agree with, but the bullshit is getting ancient and crusty. Gun grabbers determined not to stop, creating lies about our 2nd Amendment. So, allow me to bring a few facts to the table. First, as if anyone in this day and age, no matter your political affiliation, doesn't already have it memorized, here it is again for those a little slow on the uptake. A well regulated militia, being necessary of a free State. The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. Now, I am going to lay it out for you, from the writings of those who helped form our Constitution. First out the gate, as many libtarded individuals claim that they were speaking of the Army. Not true, and here is how I know. The Act forming the Army was passed and approved by George Washington on the 29th of September, 1789. Two years before the ratification of the Constitution and the 2nd Amendment. So, our professional Army was already established 2 years before the ratification of the 2nd, so no, it is not talking about the Army. It was due to the fear of the government having a standing army which could turn against its citizens under a tyrant in office. Alexander Hamilton wrote, "a well-regulated militia composed of the people will be more uniform and beneficial to the "public defense" of Americans." and "the people would have little to fear from such a well-regulated militia, because it would still be composed of their friends, neighbors, and fellow citizens." James Madison said o. the subject, that the militia was, "every able-bodied man capable of bearing arms. Why? Our nation was newly formed having just defeated the most powerful military in the world at the time, Great Britain. They were concerned about the need for a standing army, so the answer was a counter balance of power. Thus the 2nd Clause of the 2nd Amendment, "the right of the people, shall not be infringed." It was our Founding Fathers thinking that to keep the threat of a federal military from imposing upon the peoples rights, by a tyrannical government like we have now. Which brings this to the meat of the Amendment, which is "the right of the 'people' to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." PERIOD! End of the story you sad little snowflake! Don't like it? Go somewhere where they already have gun control. I'll keep my guns. The only part of a gun a tyrannical government will ever get from me is the business end.
