We all know how important it is to stay safe around electricity, but some people still think they can handle electrical work on their own. Even though the law in Western Australia requires licensed electricians to do all electrical work, some folks still believe they can do it themselves. Another problem is, when it comes to "small jobs" like changing a light fixture or fixing an outlet, some people turn to handymen instead of electricians. Unfortunately, most handymen are not qualified to do electrical work, which can be dangerous and even life-threatening. So, let's make sure we prioritise safety when it comes to electrical work and always hire licensed professionals. It's just not worth taking unnecessary risks with our lives or our homes. You can check if your contractor has a valid license here - https://bit.ly/41MmQP3

To tell if an electrician is being lazy or smart, here are some key points you can consider: ✅ Attention to Detail: A good electrician will pay attention to safety, proper connections, and follow building codes. If they seem rushed or careless, they may not be taking the job seriously. ✅. Time Management: A smart electrician works efficiently but still spends the necessary time to complete the job correctly. If they’re cutting corners or taking longer than expected without a reason, it could be a sign of laziness. ✅. Problem Solving: A skilled electrician will troubleshoot issues effectively and explain any complications. If they seem to be avoiding difficult problems or giving vague answers, they might be avoiding extra work. ✅. Cleanliness: A professional will clean up after the job and ensure everything is in order. Leaving a mess or unfinished work may indicate a lack of care. ✅. Communication: A responsible electrician will keep you updated about the process and any issues. Poor communication can sometimes point to laziness or indifference.
