This year, authenticity is the word that has defined a journey of profound discovery. Authenticity is not just a concept; it’s a mission that transforms lives. After 13 years of dedicated service in the United States Army as an infantryman and paratrooper, the return home has been both humbling and enlightening. The experiences of jumping from airplanes and enduring combat tours taught invaluable lessons about resilience and purpose. The military term "Charlie Mike," meaning “continue mission,” embodies an enduring spirit of perseverance. Helping others find their next mission is a calling that emerges from deep self-development and introspection. Self-discovery reveals the true essence of purpose and humility. Embrace the journey, step into your own, and continue the mission with unwavering determination. Your mission is waiting; continue it with authenticity and courage. #Authenticity #MustacheWisdom #Veteran #CharlieMike #DownHomeTexasBusiness

On Veterans Day, we reflect on a profound truth: service comes in many forms, but military service stands apart. They say a Veteran is someone who once handed their country a blank check, payable with their very life. This isn't just a powerful metaphor - it's the reality of military service. Every man and woman who puts on the uniform makes this extraordinary commitment, whether serving four years or thirty, in times of peace or war. What makes this service unique? It's the absolute nature of their commitment. Veterans don't choose their assignments or set their terms. They go where needed, serve who needs them, and sacrifice without question. They put aside careers, leave families behind, and suspend personal dreams for a greater purpose. "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13) While we call them heroes, many Veterans humbly point to their fallen comrades as the true heroes - those who paid the ultimate price. Yet today, we honor all who served, because each one embodied the same spirit of selfless dedication. At Serve Funding, their example of service inspires our own mission to serve our clients and partners. This Veterans Day, we encourage you to not only thank a Veteran but to follow their example: set aside your own agenda and find a way to serve someone in need. - Michael Kodinsky #VeteransDay #VeteransDay2024 #HereToServe #Sacrifice #ServantLeadership

Do you know the stories your family's veterans carry in their hearts? 🇺🇸 ♥️ The stories of our grandparents' valor and sacrifice often make up the tapestry of our family legacies. Yet, as time marches on, we risk losing these personal accounts of history. 🪦 Now is the crucial moment to engage with the veterans in our families — to ask, listen, and record their military experiences that shaped their lives and our heritage. 🎖️ My own experience with this preserves a chapter of my family's story forever. A naval aviator in the family, who flew in blimps during the Korean War, shared his tales on video 📹. Those recordings are now beyond valuable, especially as we navigated the challenges of his worsening dementia. I pose a question to all of you: Have your grandparents shared about their time in the military? 🪖 The reflections they share could offer insights into resilience, courage, and history that textbooks often overlook. Their service deserves to be honored and remembered by generations to come. For those eager to preserve these living histories, Our Patriot Stories offers a platform to record their military history for free. Find out more and get started by visiting the link in the comment below. It's a gesture of gratitude you'll cherish—a narrative thread in your family's story that you won't want to miss. #MilitaryHistory #FamilyLegacy #Veterans
