Watch this Flip this duplex In 90 seconds a tenant had moved out and left this unit in terrible condition with damage to the floors, the walls and garbage everywhere. We had to act fast to get this unit ready for the next tenant. We immediately began getting rid of all the waste and contacting contractors to help with the paint and the flooring. After purchasing the materials and working out deals with the flooring company and painting companies, our crews immediately got to work. Starting with the paint I typically don't like to start with the paint before the demo, but since it was just LVP and carpet removal, I felt like it was a safe bet. Immediately after the paint was complete, we started the demo, removing all of the LVP and carpet throughout the entire unit, upstairs and downstairs, getting ready for brand new flooring. For the flooring, we decided on Mohawk Covington Falls Ambrose color and it turned out absolutely awesome. We added plush carpet to all the bedrooms for a nice cozy feel and we also added LVP to the large rec room downstairs. The total project took about two weeks.
