3wHellgate: London had a huge potential back then, it was extremely promising. I remember the time I had been looking forward to it very well and I am also still in touch with some people from a fan community to this day. I also still have that HG:L comic issue that I won in one of the community contests organized by Flagship Studios. We were super hyped for the game before release. I loved the style, world, the novel class designs, the Diablo-likeness with random items, upgrades and mods and I still think all of that would function just as well today as it did back then. I remember the concept art made for the game by Massive Black was also amazing. I would love to see a sequel, and I really hope it will get the polish and quality it deserves, which is needed for it to turn out as a big success. The original release was a bit of a miss and attention and money fizzled out too quickly due to that. But to this day I still sometimes think of the game's concept and how great the product could have been. I dont think I have since than ever been as hyped for a game concept again as much as for this one. Turning such a hot concept into reality is of course always a big challenge, so I really hope Lunacy Games will be successful with it!
