#drinkingwaterfiltration The drinking water system includes bottled purified water, bottled mineral water, bottled mountain spring water, barreled purified water, barreled mountain spring water (drinking packaged water), etc. Each process is slightly different, and the water used can come from spring water, well water, pure water, tap water and even municipal water supply. With the current aggravation of environmental pollution, the quality of raw water is not as good as before, and people’s awareness of health care has increased, the quality of bottled water has received more attention. Many countries, especially developed countries, have strict national standards to regulate the quality of bottled water. Bottled water has a large amount of particulate impurities, protozoan cysts/oocysts and microorganisms in its production process, so filtration is critical to its process control, not only to remove particulate impurities, microorganisms, can also be used for sterile filtration of carbonation and pressure backup gas to make water quality comply with relevant regulations and strive to improve the quality of produced water and reduce safety risks for consumers. Taking the production process of drinking purified water as an example, the main filtration sites of the whole process are as follows: 1. Pre-filtration: protect the water quality entering the ultraviolet, protect the ultraviolet disinfection equipment 2. Security filtration: pre-filtration before reverse osmosis to protect RO membrane 3. Sterilizing filtration: remove microorganisms such as bacteria and eggs in water to ensure long-term preservation quality of water 4. Respirator: for compress air or other protective gases, remove moisture, particles and bacteria 5. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE City of Enderby Reduces Water Quality Advisory Duration to End at Noon on July 25, 2024 The City of Enderby is advising drinking water consumers that it is ending its Water Quality Advisory early. The Water Quality Advisory will now end at noon on July 25, 2024. The water quality advisory has been in effect since July 23, 2024. The City of Enderby issued the Water Quality Advisory as a precaution associated with planned distribution system testing. The system testing is necessary to prepare for the reconstruction of its lower reservoir. Based on the outcomes of the test that necessitated the Water Quality Advisory, the length of time that it will take for water in the system to return to its typical quality is less than anticipated. Residents may notice City Public Works crew flushing water from hydrants over the next several days in order to improve the water turnover rate in the system. For the remainder of the Water Quality Advisory, users with weakened immune systems or wishing additional protection should take the following precautions when drinking, washing fruit and vegetables, making beverages or ice, or when brushing teeth: • Boil water rapidly for at least 1 minute or use an alternate safe source of water. • Use a hand sanitizer after washing your hands.
