It was an insightful day at the Sports Video Group Esports Summit yesterday! Evan Cervantes joined the panel on behalf of Lux Machina / NEP Sweetwater in the session entitled "Inside the Control Room: Tips and Tech for a Successful Esports Production". where the discussion covered technology practices and techniques of production used for live-broadcast #esports events. Highlights of this conversation were the advent of APIs for real-time triggers, REMI (remote productions), and large format screens-control. Two of the best esports orgs in the world — Cloud9 Esports, Inc. and NRG — understand why precision matters, in League of Legends and in the parking lot. Today, we launched the first broadcast campaign for Kia America as an Official Partner of the League of Legends Championship Series, featuring players from Cloud9 and NRG testing the Kia EV9 and its Remote Parking Assist function outside Riot Games Arena. Allied Sports had some fun creating and producing this campaign with our friends at 1Park9. Check out this first spot called "Parallel Precision" which will run with other new content throughout the LCS Summer Split. BIG news for Oceanic Esports! 3 months ago GameAware launched phase 1 of the #LiftOCE initiative for Esports performance. The purpose is to help our region of Oceania kickstart a mental performance journey so that we can close the performance gap with other international regions. I'm happy to report that it was a success! I was able to run FREE workshops for 10 #esports professional organisations that had multiple teams representing them. Now we're back with phase 2. The theme of LiftOCE is #accessibility. We want to provide access to information that is usually only available to the top teams in the world because of higher budgets. We are offering very inexpensive #workshops at $25pp, delivered by performance experts to try and eliminate the cost barrier for teams, but also to keep it open to everyone and anyone looking to learn more about #mentalperformance.
