I can't help but smile and giggle whenever I am capturing events rooted in community. As a photographer and videographer, you get to stand behind the camera and hear a ton of comments from those on the other side. I've received comments that make it hard for me not to laugh. • It really seems like you enjoy what you are doing. • You don't want to take a photo of me, I'll ruin your camera. • Can you photoshop all of this? • Can you take a photo with my phone? • I was born "ready". 1, 2, 3 snap the photo. • Are you almost out of film? • Do you mean to tell me photos take less than 24 hrs to develop? • Can I get a quick headshot for my LinkedIn profile? I have grown such a comfort now that it's therapeutic to take photos and remain flexible. A big part of capturing events is adapting to situations and making people feel comfortable.
