Môn CF Anglesey’s Post

So proud of myself to be able to say I passed my emergency first aid certification with Môn CF Anglesey back on the 7th of November! It was run by the incredible Anna Smith, and I would recommend everyone try to some level of first aid training at some point in their life. One thing that stuck with me from that session is women are less likely to survive cardiac arrest (CA) in public due to lack of bystander CPR. One of the reasons for this was fear of touching a women’s chest because of the presence of breasts. So much so that a CPR bra was created by St John’s Ambulance Service (take a look at the link below) In the group we discussed the importance or early identification of CA and quick intervention.
