Ready for Day 2 of the @PowerShiftSummit2024 hosted by RWEA - Romanian Wind Energy Association & RPIA - Romanian Photovoltaic Industry Association. Day 1 highlights: - Electrification is key, but emphasis should be put on industrial electrification, with clear and directed policies addressing the Industrial Green Deal; - Grids are stated to be a priority, but more applicable policy must follow, with anticipatory investments on a highlight; - Policies need to be more predictibile and the governments should have instruments which are based on the realities of the market and the needs of the consumers; - The main objective for all the parties involved is to have good prices and great services for the end consumers; - Market liberalization is crucial for a dinamic and sustainable growth with more access to development and innovation through instruments like Guarantees of Origin and PPAs; - Digitalization is key and cannot be ignored, as all this complexity in the energy transition needs to be managed through digital solutions; - Storage is the future and better and better solutions are being built locally by Monsson and Prime Batteries Technology. Strategic planing is crucial and more accountability is essential.

This prestigious national classification is a testament to the alliance's significant achievements and its pivotal role in driving Slovakia's transition towards a sustainable energy future. 📀 The Developed Cluster category is the highest level of recognition awarded to industry clusters in Slovakia, acknowledging their advanced capabilities, strong collaborative networks, and substantial impact on the local, national and European economy.
