SRQ Resources Inc. (SRQ-V) SRQ reports discovery and at-surface delineation of magmatic intrusion and additional pyroxenite units at Lac Brulé, Grenville, Québec. On June 24, 2024, SRQ Resources Inc. reported assay results for the April 2024 Phase 3 drilling program on its newly discovered Lac Brulé Ultramafic Magmatic Intrusive Complex ("UM") in Québec. Recall on May 28, 2024, SRQ had announced encouraging visual results from a recent drilling (https://lnkd.in/gRM8pgCB). The Phase III drill program totaled 3,015m with 10 holes completed at the Gossan Zone and one hole (LB-24-29) on the Target 900, located ~6km west of the Gossan Zone that investigated a high gravity target. At the Gossan Zone, the UM intrusive sequence was traced over 800m along a SW to NE direction with a mineralized sub-layer traced over 550m. Drill results confirmed the mineralized envelop where we estimate an average thickness of 2.32m at 0.60% Cu + Ni. Ongoing surface regional geological mapping outlined a very large magmatic intrusive complex which seems to be deeply rooted. Hole LB-24-29, terminated due to technical reasons, ended ~250m east of the core of the anomaly. Despite missing the core by such a distance, the hole intersected several mineralized zones including 0.79m at 0.66% Cu and 0.3% Ni (1.23% Cueq) at ~733m depth, indicating the mineralized potential of the entire system. We would expect downhole EM geophysics to be conducted eventually on this accessible area (see: https://lnkd.in/gA7uCDKZ). On-going prospecting has discovered magmatic pyroxenite units ~8km SW of the Gossan Zone. The units are located on the southern limb of the recently discovered magmatic intrusion complex. SRQ has filed the compulsory authorization ATI ("Autorisation pour travaux à impact") with the Québec ministry and is continuing geological mapping, prospecting and reviewing options for possible downhole geophysics. The Lac Brulé Ni-Cu mineralization has strong similarities with the Former Renzy Ni-Cu Mine and could have some probability of a significant discovery for Cu-Ni endowment. Thrilled to announce the completion of my course in 'Geophysical Methods for Engineering, Construction, and Mining'. This journey has been eye-opening, unveiling the important role of geophysical techniques in understanding the complexities of the near-surface. In an era where the push towards energy transition and decarbonization is more urgent than ever, the knowledge I've gained feels particularly relevant. As we strive to expand our onshore wind and solar farm infrastructures, understanding the subsurface becomes crucial. It’s not just about building; it’s about building right - in safe, sustainable locations that support the weight of our renewable ambitions. This course has equipped me with the insights to contribute to the development of energy and engineering projects, ensuring they are rooted in solid, sustainable ground. The potential of near-surface geophysics to mitigate risks and accelerate the transition to a decarbonized energy system is immense. #EnergyTransition #RenewableEnergy #Geophysics

At AES, we are pride ourselves continuously having approved Environment Plans for multiple Seismic Projects in the Perth and Canning Basins, but what is a Seismic Survey, and what are the different types of surveys? A Seismic Survey, is an initial exploration for oil and gas reserves trapped underground, without having to drill. The Surveys work by creating a source of vibration (Source) and having the reflected noise captured by a measuring or measuring devices (Receiver), giving us a sonic image of the target. 2D Seismic Surveys run the source (usually a vibroseis truck) and the receiver (usually geophones) in a straight line, recording a vertical-style cross-section of the target. 3D Seismic Surveys run receiver lines across a large area, and the source moves across the area as it makes it's vibrations, creating a cube-style cross-section of stacked reflections. 2D and 3D Surveys both play a role in exploration, each has their own list's of pro's and con's, and both can vary in type in regards to what is used to create the source and what is used to receive the reflected noise. Results from the ongoing geophysical survey at our Mt Oxide Project highlighted a number of unexplored geophysical anomalies. The survey has been supported by a $300,000 Queensland Government Collaboration Exploration Initiative (CEI) Grant. The survey continues and is currently focused on testing several highly promising copper targets north along strike of Vero at Ivena North, Aquila and Mt Gordon. The new geophysics will be integrated with ongoing mapping and surface geochemical sampling campaigns to identify and prioritise future drill targets. Managing Director, Bevan Jones said: "Our exploration efforts at Mt Oxide are yielding great results. The recent survey, supported by the CEI grant, has yielded anomalies that closely match our existing Vero copper, silver, and cobalt resources, providing us confidence to use this method to identify new targets across the area. Exciting new drilling targets have been identified at Camp Gossans and Vero and we have also found new potential mineralised structures like Black Marlin. The deep seeking MT survey at Vero has found an anomaly that suggests the main mineralised zone could extend more than 1km deeper than our current drilling. With multiple high quality drill targets coming together, our Mt Oxide Project is conceptually building into a potentially significant copper mineralised district of which Vero is just one deposit."
