Who says bucket lists are just for kids? 🤔 As adults, we so often get caught up in the daily grind, forgetting to make time for fun and personal growth. But here's the thing: we need summer adventures, too. A thoughtful bucket list can help us break out of our routines, try new experiences, and make the most of the season. It's about intentional activities that refresh our spirits and broaden our horizons. I've started a summer bucket list for myself that's equal parts enriching and enjoyable: 1. Learn a new skill (cooking class?) 2. Read 1 book outside my usual genre 3. Try a new outdoor activity (paddleboarding?) 4. Spend a technology-free day in nature 5. Attend a local cultural event or festival 6. Plan a day of absolute nothingness (that even scares me) What would you add to your summer bucket list? #BucketList #PersonalGrowth #SummerGoals

POV: The last few weeks of summer feel like a beautiful, chaotic blur. I love everything about summer in Western Washington—the sun, the perfect weather, and the nature that surrounds us. But as much as I enjoy the long days and outdoor adventures with the kids, there’s a part of me that’s ready to get back to our regular routine. My days usually have a certain rhythm: school drop-offs, a workout, emails, meetings, and then diving into financial models or networking in the afternoon. The consistency keeps me grounded. During the summer, though, that routine flies out the window. Each day becomes a guessing game of what needs to be done and where I need to be. Sometimes, I even lose track of what day of the week it is. As we hit the halfway point of August, there’s a small part of me that’s eager for school to start again. Not just for the kids, but for the structure it brings back to our lives. Here’s to enjoying the last days of summer—and to getting back to a routine that keeps us all on track. Who else is ready for fall? #Summer2024 #BackToSchool #WorkLifeBalance #WesternWashington #ParentLife #RoutineMatters #AugustDays #FamilyTime #Productivity #SummerVibes #realestatedevelopment #realestatedeveloper
