We're building a respectful community where women can live free from violence and fear. As part of the global #16Days of Activism (25 Nov–10 Dec), we've partnered with local groups to host events fostering awareness, conversation, and action. We're celebrating diverse expressions of gender identity as part of the Free to Be Me Photo Competition - men can be gentle, women can be powerful, and everyone deserves to express themselves freely. You can vote for the People's Choice Award or visit the empowering exhibition on display at the Social Foundry in Kyneton. Council also has a team who are walking and running their way through the 16 Days by completing the UN Women’s Safe. Everywhere. Always. Challenge – because women and girls should be #SafeEverywhereAlways
