Great company, good opportunity

Ownership is different than accountability. At work people who own it are part of the process whether the outcome is good or shit. They stand up first and are always integral to success. Accountability comes after the fact and is usually part of a job description. So a boss or manager can assign accountability but can’t assign ownership... The difficult part is having a mix of both within a company… Can’t have too many chefs in the kitchen; however what’s the best way to deal with a employee who wants ownership but a position isn’t open above them? Everybody's problem! The good manager managed the people to get good results. He left the job due to some reasons. Another comes to fill the vacancy, and he managed the staff to praise the colleagues and peers instead of focusing on tasks. He left the job, and another comes in his place and tries to get good results from the staff who were giving good results and now also know how to praise the people. He decided to hire the new staff who could work according to his instructions. After hiring the new staff, he also left the job because they were not able to meet the company's expectations and job requirements. Retention is Better Than Recruitment. 🤔 If you find that you're constantly hiring and re-hiring, then take a step back and look at why this is. (I might be doing myself out of a job here) - Why are people leaving? - What can you do to stop them leaving? - How can you increase staff retention? If you focus on this first, and then go out to hire. You will hopefully only need to go out and hire much less. 👍 I hope this helps.
